Village Brewery

IT TAKES A VILLAGESome of the best things happen over beer. Ideas are born, friendships forged, deals struck, communities built. That’s how Village Brewery began, friends sharing beers and dreams. Around the table, we had close to a century and a half of brewing experience. One of us was a legendary Canadian brewmaster. Naturally the talk turned to the art and craft of better beer, then to secret sources of malts and hops. By last call we had dreamed up a true community brewery. A brewery that would support Calgary’s artists and craftspeople. A brewery that would create the excellent ales and lagers our friends and neighbors deserve. That talk over beer started the brewery that handcrafted the fine brew you hold in your hand. Please join our table, lift a pint and salute the Village of Calgary. It takes a Village to raise a beer. And a beer to raise a Village. TAPROOM Come visit our taproom for pints, flights and growler fills. Our taproom functions as an art gallery and is host to various activities and events throughout the week. Regular Tap Room Hours: Free Entry Thur: 3pm-8pm Fri: 3pm-8pm Sat: 12pm-8pm TOURS AND TASTINGS Saturdays at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Accompanied by one of our good looking tour guides, take an in-depth tour of our facility, taste all of our current beers and take home a custom made Village Brewery pint glass!

We were given a virtual cooking class for two as a gift. We booked the Italian dinner as that worked with our schedule. When I picked up the supplies I was concerned that there was not going to be enough food. I was happy to be proven wrong. I liked the pace of the class and the fact we were able to enjoy the entree and desert on our own after class. In spite of the fact I thought it would be very simple we learned alot. The best part was the end products were delicious!!! High quality ingredients and teaching. Great night!
