The rich history of the paintings ( murals ) and explaining the meaning of the paintings and the artists was captivating. I was not bored at all. Tadeau ( tour guide) is like a history book except that I don’t have to do the reading. His knowledge about Tijuana, the places visited , the artists, and what the paintings explains is easy to follow and understand. It was a Mother’s Day well spent since I was alone in San Diego and my children couldn’t come, this day trip was their pick.

You must go to Tijuana, you can walk around and spend the day there and have lots of fun, I have done it on my own without booking a company to take me, and I had a blast. Make sure to plan ahead, exchange some money because paying in the local currency is cheaper, download offline maps, you will most probably not have coverage therefore you will not have internet, I would recommend that you explore all the way to the arch, from the arch you can take any turn and each turn you take will reveal a new aspect of the city.

Carlos the guide was excellent. We had a great time with the family. Carlos was caring and showed us excellent places to eat great food. The zip lining was excellent experience for the kids. La Bufadora and the market place is a must go. My kids were able to touch some animals there at a extra cost but was worth it. Thank you Carlos.

This tour on the list will set you on the right path of experiencing the local culture of Tijuana it's multicultural scene and it's people. In this tour you will explore the Tijuana in a few hours as a local. Tijuana is located 30 min. from Downtown San Diego, California; has 2.3 million people of which 75%, approximately, are foreigners. But no one is excluded in Tijuana! Actually Tijuana is made of outsiders; and since probation Tijuana has been living and growing thanks to tourism. Awesome food and craft beer experience unlike any other city in Mexico. This new interest in food and craft beer has given Tijuana a new growth in culture, all along the Baja. Tijuana has being the path for many people looking to have the american dream, by crossing legally or illegally thru the USA Border. This leaves people behind what makes them to either settle or go back home. Most of them stay and build there life here.

My friend and I booked this tour on TripAdvisor. Pretty straight forward but due to COVID, instead of meeting at the McDonalds, we had to walk across the border and meet our tour guide there. We spent the day with Tadeo and he was great! He was fully of energy, very helpful, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. Very safe tour, very fun. We had a great group; it was a great time. Highly recommend this tour! If you can request for someone specific, Tadeo is the man!
