The Golden Cactus Gallery has moved again. Now located 3 miles from the Marina, it is on the Highway to Todos Santos, at kilometer 2.5, in Casa Blanca shopping mall. At the stop light one mile past Soriana, make a U-turn, and the mall will be on your left in about 100 feet. The gallery represents more than 20 artists, all expressing their love of Mexico. Open since 1997, it is the only fine art gallery in town.

This was such an unexpected delight! From the minute i walked in the door, there was a personal greeting, invitation to view the interactive artwork and download a free APP to enjoy the gallery on my own or with their docents! The artwork literally comes alive thru the APP, when you touch it. There is a piano piece that you PLAY! Another piece where you and another person can each touch the side and then hold hands. You play music with your fingers on your partner's hand!

Must visit when in San Jose. Silvermoon Gallery has a beautiful collection of indigenous and modern art. We enjoyed talking to Armando, his knowledge of folklore and art will keep you entertained for days. Wife and I could not leave without purchasing a beautiful piece of art, due to size it had to be shipped to Florida. Silvermoon did an outstanding job with delivery and customer service.

This was fun, my sister and I learned quit a bit about multi media art from her! She is patient and has great suggestions for making your art piece amazing! The studio in smack in the middle of art walk area and we loved walking around afterwards!

Stopped in during the Thursday art walk and whilst exploring the truly lovely and interesting art and grounds, we found ourselves having a great chat with Frank and his wife. There are a few sculptures i have my eye on and I am very keen to return for Christmas holidays!

This amazing place with the kindest owner is certainly Trip Advisor #1 in Cabo San Lucas. From the minute you enter the shop, owner, Carlo Sotelo, greets you the way a friend welcomes you back home. It is genuine & you know immediately this is a place you want to stay for awhile. The only problem we had was choosing which of the gorgeous original works of art we wanted to take home because each was exceptional in design, originality and price. Besides the artwork, there’s so much more to see. All that is Mexico is on display - stunning jewelry, crafts, ceramics, talavera. The best of the best is here. When your new friend pours you a sipping shot of the most delicious almond tequila, you know you’ll be coming back for more friendship, art, and tequila. So after talking over our plans, we returned a few days later & are now the very proud owners of 2 original paintings by the renowned artist, Norberto Flores Villegas from Acapulco and we couldn’t be happier. The blessing of the beautiful art that will adorn our home, was made all the sweeter when Carlo gifted us with a beautiful bag and inside the bag was a bottle of the unforgettable almond tequila we had enjoyed with him a few days prior. If you choose to spend some time in Cabo gazing upon all the treasures to be found in this wonderful shop, we guarantee you that you will see why Carlo is the most wonderful example of Mexican hospitality and you will have a new friend. Galeria Ida Victoria, run by Ida Gustavson, is our favorite art gallery in San Jose del Cabo. Over the years, we have become close friends with the Ida and her assistant Alegria. We have attended a dramatic performance there as well as a few concerts held at the gallery. She has a great selection of artists on view. Two of our favorites are Brent Lynch and Michael Carlyle. On the Thursday art walk, you will miss out if you don't visit this special place.
