Reviewed By lailindrawake up, open the door to the room, the view is very fresh and feels like you are again in the Balinese countryside, very beautiful. got a very large room for the two of me with my sister hehe the environment is clean, and the service from the housekipping is very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for those who miss the atmosphere of Bali but are in Malang and who want to be away from the noise. ^^

Reviewed By ulrichh805We were planning to stay in Harry’s hotel and found out too late that it is too far from Yogyakarta to catch the train to Jakarta. Although booking.com said that a cancellation was impossible, the staff was very understanding and they cancelled the reservation and we got all our money back. We can recommend this hotel to the fullest degree. Excellent treatment of their customers???????????? Ulli Hoffner, Germany

Reviewed By aldonova23I come with family on 21 Oct. Looking for a good place, with good budget and good location. Difficult of course, but I can find it after googling in few hours. Actually, I want to stay on another homestay beside this place, but read some review about noisy and facility I cancel it. They dont pick my phone also. So i choose this Cemara Homestay. + Easy to find. Great location. You can go in every interesting place on Batu from here. You can also see Batu Night Spectacular from your room! ( I got front room). My kid was like it! + Cheap. With IDR 285 K, I get big room, more than enough for me and my family. Clean. Nice shower. Sheet and blanket was very nice!! Pillow are 4 add with 2 small pillow! I was thinking to bring my own pillow, sheet and towels. But they provide it! + Breakfast. With Capcay , sweet fried chicken, and soybean this is awesome! They provide also cofee and tea maker! My wife was bring her own cause we dont thingking that the homestay provide it! This place are recommended for family! Even if you have baby! + Cool and relaxing. I can sit down on near the tree, watch the BNS at night. Where you can find thing like this,huh? With drink my own coffee. + Huge parking area. Not really huge but more than enough to bring the car. Even you bring isuzu ELF or HIACE. + Very quite. I was thinking cause its located on street then facing with BNS it would be noisy. Cause some review on another place are write about it. But here..... you can sleep very well dude! + Employees are awesome. They wait for my late coming on 23.30! Open the door and when i ask about payment, he (Anton) said "no need now, you can rest first sir after driving in a long time". I like it! The woman also friendly (forget the name), my wife need comb and she find it. Then when have a problem with water, not till 1 minute everything are clear. - Nothing. I like this so much! Based on the cost, room, facility, location, parking, quite, where you can find place like this on Batu? Very recommended on all ages! Homestay should be like this.

Reviewed By 9FreeOpinion2Highly recommended if you wish to climb the Ijen volcano. The owner, August, is truly amazing! He speaks perfect English and he helps you book the Ijen Tour for a very good price, everything included. The room was very clean and comfortable with a big bed and shower. Breakfast is great and the location is amazing since it is located right across from the train station. So yeah, this was great!!

Reviewed By RB_SGThe restaurant is excellent with multiple gazebos all traditionally made out of bamboos. Finally we found a place serving real Javanese cuisine. This place is a little gem along the road towards Probolinggo.

Cheap stay
Reviewed By joehirothSuper friendly and nice guesthouse. They help you with everything. Also they arrange the Ijen Night tour and have free pick up service usually. If you don’t mind cockroaches in the room, no AC and cold water go there! But for that price it’s acceptable.
