Lovely hotel overlooking the sea
Reviewed By Karen HSpent a lovely week in Skiathos at this lovely hotel. When we arrived we carried our cases up the stairs to reception but no one was about. However once someone appeared we were greeted very well and were offered a nice welcome drink at the bar which was made by Alex the hotel manager. I must say the staff are great here and a special mention goes to Maria who was always happy and very helpful. The pool area was lovely and as the hotel had just opened it wasn't busy and there was always a sun bed available. Towels were provided which was a nice touch. The room was a suite with a big balcony over looking the sea with a lovely view of the town which is about 10-15 mins walk away. There were 114 steps up to our room and although fine for us, this hotel would not be suitable for older guests. Our room very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was a little hit and miss if we got our tea and coffee replenished and on a couple of occasions we only had one towel between the 2 of us and no toilet roll left on one occasion. On 2 occasions a cleaning rag was left in the bathroom. The biggest area for improvement however would be the breakfast service. Sometimes you waited quite a while to be asked if you wanted tea and coffee and for the order to be taken, On other days this was done quickly but then we were given the wrong order or someone else's order. The toaster didn't really work and they had to change the coffee machine during that week also. Not sure why all these things were not tested the week before the hotel opened? In summary - this is a great little hotel in a good location but the breakfast service just needed to be organised a lot better which I am sure will improve as the season goes on.

Reviewed By CondormanWe’ve had a wonderful weeks holiday at Maria Yiannis and enjoyed the warm welcome from Manos and team (plus the dogs Arya and Belo). The team go above and beyond, and look like they are genuinely enjoying themselves too. We stayed here 12 years ago and the place has been steadily improved over that time - there’s an improved bar area and a new seating area for food and drinks. The complex is kept spotless, both around the pool and in the apartments. There is a fun greek night on Thursdays My kids loved the pool which is a good size. There is a baby pool too (also nice for adults to splash in!) Location is great for Troulos beach, the local Supermarket and Gyros bar - plus bus stop 20. Taxis have been stopping regularly if the bus is having one of its more haphazard days….Troulos beach has good tavernas and a water sports area. And you can spot terrapins in the small pond bit next to the water sports. We’ve enjoyed food locally at Nectar and Ambrosia, Salt and Pepper and Troulos Bay hotel. In fact most food in Troulos is of a good standard, Totem bar is a fun later night addition to the area, and they were good with kids too We come back to Skiathos because of the beauty and the wonderful friendly hosting - and this is definitely present at Maria Yiannis

Reviewed By LittlekingTAnother excellent stay at Villa Karina. Third visit and as good as ever. Rooms are spotlessly clean, owners and staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is lovely and freshly prepared each morning. Villa Karina is situated in a great location within walking distance to several beaches, tavernas, and supermarkets. Guest can use the pool at the hotel next door and several other tavernas locally if drinks/food is purchased. Ideal accommodation for anyone with any mobility difficulties due to the lack of steep hills/steps like many properties on the island have. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Reviewed By 756millietI couldn’t recommend this place enough! Rena is absolutely lovely and included us in so much and kostas is such a lovely guy aswell. Koukias is very close to lots of restaurants and is easily accessible ,it is on bus stop 18 and it is very easy to get to town and other places from there. Best holiday I’ve ever been on everyone was so nice and welcoming, the rooms were big and very nicely decorated! If your thinking about booking do it you will not regret it!!

Friendly Staff and Amazing Views, and So Grateful for Being Taken in Last Minute!
Reviewed By bex52296We stayed at Fengeros Village from the 21st - 24th May, but we didn't booked this hotel originally! We were meant to stay at Hotel Aria (about a 10 min walk away), but when we arrived there they were doing hotel renovations but hadn't informed us!! Thankfully the very kind owners at Fengeros took us in very last minute and we will be forever grateful! Although only two of us, we were given room 27, which had 1 double bed and 3 singles. The beds themselves aren't the comfiest but after the first hotel ordeal, I really wasn't going to complain. The rooms come with kitchenettes, however we ate out everynight. The view from the balcony was STUNNING! Although sat on top of a very sleep hill (don't book here if you have problems walking), the walk down to Megali beach is about 5 minutes. The walk into the old port is about 20 minutes. I would 100% stay here again. The staff were so kind, and friendly! Me and my friend were trying to work out what tree with fruit on it was near the pool, and one of the worker picked some for us (it was a kumquat tree)! The pool was a good size, with barely anyone using it whilst we were there! The pool side snack bar served generous alcohol in their cocktails, and provided us with a lovely lunch on the last day. Lots of cats visit the pool area too. As I said, we will be forever grateful to Fengeros Village for taking us in so last minute, and I plan on coming back to Skiathos and will book directly with this hotel again!

Reviewed By SaskajovWe stayed at this hotel for 12 days. The hotel is in quiet part of Skiathos near beautiful sandy beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is very kind and made us feel welcome. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and flowers. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come again.

Reviewed By tomazj007We were there for one week. The apartment was cleaned everyday. The kitchen was equiped with esential things. AC worked normally and we had a fridge. The homeowner is a very kind women which tries to speak english somehow but it is understandable. She was smiling everyday. The neighborhood was quite. There are no nice beaches nearby. I suggest to rent a car.

Villa TeoZenia is located in the beautiful area of Achladies on the island of Skiathos and is 3km away from Skiathos town and 400m away from the local beach. Reviewed By FellowTraveler268143If you would like to stay in town this is the perfect choice. Only a few minutes walk to the Skiathos town center. Modern rooms with new furniture , toilet , shower etc. Mattress are Coco mat! Wow. It has a pool that we never used cause the beaches in Skiathos are beautiful. Manolis is very helpful and welcoming. Value for money. We prefer staying in the center so we could travel to a different beach during the day and walk to the center at night. He qlso has 2 rooms available at the old port.
