Great to get back to Food Playground after doing a great class here 4 yrs ago. Love that you get a hands on cooking experience while learning about the food culture and history of Peranakan food in Singapore. Mary was a terrific tutor sharing her own family experience and upbringing. Daniel (owner) is the champion of this meaningful social cause, which is to help more stay-at-home mothers return to the workforce by providing them with meaningful flexible employment opportunities so they can stay connected to society, earn some income for their family and regain their self-confidence. Highly recommended as the first thing to do during any stay in the lion city!

The class took place at the instructor’s workshop, so the atmosphere was quite warm and comfortable, and the organisation of the class was very professional. We prepped the perfumes together as a team and also on our own. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend this class to anyone!

Bynd Artisan hosted a modern calligraphy workshop with Joanne of The Letter J; and it was a most enjoyable experience. Joanne is highly knowledgeable and passionate about her craft, and a great teacher. The workshop was hosted at Bynd Artisan's workshop studio space, which was highly conducive for the activity at hand. I recommend it to anyone - you'll enjoy learning something new!

Caroline is a travel and editorial photographer whose work has been published in worldwide media. She teaches travel photography in Singapore and at few exotic destinations around Asia. Her signature workshop in Singapore is Night Photography. Participants get to learn techniques of photographing in low light, long exposure and in the night. This is a great opportunity to photograph a variety of sceneries and subjects in different lightings, from twilight hour to night. She keeps the group small (maximum 6 persons only) to ensure quality coaching is extended to every participant. If you are totally new to photography, get in touch with her to craft a workshop to get you started on the fundamentals of photography.
