Village Brewery

IT TAKES A VILLAGESome of the best things happen over beer. Ideas are born, friendships forged, deals struck, communities built. That’s how Village Brewery began, friends sharing beers and dreams. Around the table, we had close to a century and a half of brewing experience. One of us was a legendary Canadian brewmaster. Naturally the talk turned to the art and craft of better beer, then to secret sources of malts and hops. By last call we had dreamed up a true community brewery. A brewery that would support Calgary’s artists and craftspeople. A brewery that would create the excellent ales and lagers our friends and neighbors deserve. That talk over beer started the brewery that handcrafted the fine brew you hold in your hand. Please join our table, lift a pint and salute the Village of Calgary. It takes a Village to raise a beer. And a beer to raise a Village. TAPROOM Come visit our taproom for pints, flights and growler fills. Our taproom functions as an art gallery and is host to various activities and events throughout the week. Regular Tap Room Hours: Free Entry Thur: 3pm-8pm Fri: 3pm-8pm Sat: 12pm-8pm TOURS AND TASTINGS Saturdays at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Accompanied by one of our good looking tour guides, take an in-depth tour of our facility, taste all of our current beers and take home a custom made Village Brewery pint glass!

They also have $5 pints from 2-6 everyday and all day Sunday’sand 10$ growler fills on Thursday’s! It’s a great hangout spot with lots of things to do.. pool table, ping pong table, board games, card games, darts and many more!! They also have a great taproom team of staff!! It’s definitely worth it :)

Cabin is a must-visit brewery in Calgary. They’re brewing some of the best beer in the city, courtesy of their head brewer, Jonas Hurtig. Sunshine Rain IPA is my personal pick, but everything that I’ve tried has been delicious (including the surprising Ultraviolet blueberry ale). The taproom is very welcoming, and the staff are awesome. You can order your own food in, or sample their New Zealand style meat pies, meat and cheese platters or pretzels. The steak and cheese meat pie can’t be beat. It’s also kid and family friendly with high chairs, LEGO, games and a kids snack plate too. Don’t miss this place.

Tool Shed Brewing Company

Visit Tool Shed Brewing Co. and see how we make our delicious beers. Meet the people and ingredients behind your favourite brew, and take home some Tool Shed merchandise at the same time.

Tool Shed Brewery has quickly become a favourite watering hole. Do yourself a favour and take the tour. The quality of their product, combined with five-star staff is what keeps us going back. Anyone I bring by falls in love with the atmosphere that Graham, Jeff and the crew have created. They recently added 2 pinball machines to their variety of board games and foosball. The best part i think, they are open 7 days. Are you on your way yet?
