Reviewed By shadgeramiI have stayed at Old Inn several times and have not been disappointed at all. It is a charming hotel with that industrial feel to it. The staff is very welcoming and the rooms are clean with a nice firm bed.

Is all you could hear was banging for hours on end like someone had given a child a hammer and chislle it has been going on this morning. The hotel it self is great the room doors are very thin so you can hear people walking past or even near your door at any of the hour day or night.The walkie talkies they use to communicate with each other are so loud you can hear them reverberate through out the whole building. If you don't want to sleep good great hotel to come to. This my only review as I will not stay again at the top mansion hotel Udonthani. David sinclaire

Reviewed By shaun5778Firstly, this is a rural & isolated location...which I thought was perfect. If you want to get around, a car is advisable - although we found Christine very helpful with a lift into Udorn Thani (250 baht) and also for a sunrise trip to the Red Lotus Lake (1250 baht & worth doing). Christine cooks to order from her menu, so if you request 'no spicy'...that's what you get. The menu includes Thai & European options and a very impressive selection of Belgium beer (along with other drink options!) The pool is very nice and about 400 m along the road at a neighbours house & is very nice. We mostly went for walks locally, plenty of good wildlife to see.

Great hotel
Reviewed By Diver1964This hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of a downtown hotel. It is in a very quiet location so you do not hear the constant traffic you would get elsewhere. The rooms and rest of the hotel are clean and in good repair. Water pressure in the shower was very strong with lots of hot water. We really appreciated the modern decor of our room. My favourite spot was outside on the restaurant deck overlooking the fish pond. For ฿10, you can get a container of fish food and feed the fish. The sound of the waterfalls, the birds singing and the shade from the trees made this a local paradise. The bed was comfortable and they had a modern TV, but we never watched it. The WiFi was strong throughout the hotel. There were restaurants close by and even a couple of night clubs within walking distance. We even found a great massage place about a five minutes walk. There is a huge city park five minutes walk away with separate walking and biking lanes. The walking path is rubberized to make it easier for joggers. Beautiful trees in the park. There is a restaurant that supples breakfast in the morning. Their signature breakfast was very tasty. The only drawback was the distance from the central business district. If you want to shop and be with the night life, it is about ฿100 to get downtown by tuk tuk.

Very Noisy Club Nearby Until 1:00 am
Reviewed By forrestg824I stayed on a weekday, it may get worse on the weekends. Very very loud Isan dance music from a nearby club, they kept playing until 1 am. I wanted to complain next morning but guy at the front desk can't speak English. Bring your ear plugs if you want to stay there.

So if you want to eat something you need to go far. The room was a bit small clean, ok. Comparable with B2. Breakfast was small, mostly Thai breakfast. Coffee only instant red nescafe.

Still clean and comfy but this room had a pipe problem in the toilet

Front desk always good and attentive and housekeeping is great. The only bad part is the pipe in the toilet has a really bad smell. Parking is free as usual and it's close to the mini mart Big C infront of the soi.

Reviewed By DaoaksornGood location, very close to government center and Nong Prajak. But no parking lot inside. If you have your own car may be park alongside to the road in front of the guesthouse. Bikes are provided for guests who need to travel nearby.
