So room rates have been slashed to get bums on (comfortable) beds, hoping they will eat and drink at the great Mexican-Thai-American restaurant It worked for me. Very comfortable room with fan 3/4 fridge and air-con. Hot water and lights all worked. Strong wi-fi. No coat hangers in the wardrobe was the only blemish. Great staff especially Aimmy. Highly recommended. They don't do breakfast anymore, Just go for a little walk. Hey this is Thailand.

Reviewed By Anna MThe place is 1 km from the center no restaurant nearby the room was not clean with some small unts around and 1 cucaracha, and very bad smell from the bathroom expecially in the night. bed sheet with some spot. Room at 4th floor . The second day I change room 2nd floor totally different , it was clean, no animals, no smell. The lady speak good english. Wifi good.

A oasis of hip and comfort rolled into one
Reviewed By bacidog101I stayed at the Di Lit for a few days when visiting the area in February to play some golf. I was delighted to find such a great little hotel with such a nice vibe. The owners Aht and his wife Por, were wonderfull hosts along with the other girls who worked in the cafe and the office. I was made to feel at home and enjoyed the Breakfasts and dinners that the kitchen produced. A small swiming pool in a shaded courtyard is very nice and the general eclectic furniture really made it a great stay. A big , YES , Es , to staying again on my next visit to the region.

Arrogant staff and terrible service
Reviewed By Stephen PArrived at the hotel today (04/10/16) with proof of payment through Agoda. Was told by the staff that all pax had to show ID to check in, including my 2 year old son. Ridiculous. I did not have my passport on me but my girlfriend (who was the booked name) had her ID. They did not allow us to check in. This condition was not mentioned when booking and is not on their profile page through Agoda. Whats more the address as shown on Agoda is wrong and their website doesnt work. Bad service, wrong address, hotel looked dirty and staff arrogant. STAY AWAY !!

Reviewed By InstantcalmerI am wary when it says "resort" in Isaan, Thailand. Many resorts are just rows of dog kennels with air-con grinding away to try to keep them cool. But this place really is a resort albeit in an out of the way location.. Good staff, quiet location next to the lake, fast wi-fi, good food and wonderfully clean mid-sized pool. The rooms are like apartments with a separate bedroom and quality bathroom.. The owner speaks great English and is very helpful even cooking us breakfast herself on a Sunday when the kitchen is closed. Only small thing i would like is a lamp in the bedroom. 5 stars from me.

Reviewed By phumjitClose to market, 7-11, not too far to walk to Kong river. Breakfast is easy , it go with boiled rice, coffee , bread. You are recommended to walk to market to buy your favorite food and have them in the hoyel's restuarant.

The hotel is a good location in the city and easy to find using google maps Rooms are designed to look like small houses and very comfortable with air con and good showers. Overall the rooms are very good value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful and rooms are kept very clean

Amazing value and very clean
Reviewed By Scobie PWe always put all our visitors into this hotel and I would rate it to be the best value and cleanest hotel in Ubon. It is relatively new, has a simple breakfast included, good and reliable free WiFi, very comfortable bed, Air con and TV and refrigerator in every room. All our visitors (average of around 20 per year) have always been really impressed with this place. At only 450 baht per night for the amenities it has, you can't beat it for value! A mere 2 minute walk down the road is the huge Kaam Yai Market (huge range of food and clothes) and a very clean 25 metre swimming pool complex that includes a kiddies pool as well (directly over the road from the market). The pool is only really open from 1pm onwards (although the sign says 10am opening). Although I only speak Thai with the owners, our last visitor told us the female owner speaks good English. So, even non-Thai speakers won't be lost here. Don't expect an inner city location though - it is located in an inner north suburb of Ubon (Kaam Yai). But the owners can arrange transport for you - again, this is typically cheap in Thailand.
