Reviewed By SavvyTraveler187We booked via Expedia and our flight was delayed into Tivat. The hotel was kind and worked with us. They only charged us for one day that we did not make it. We appreciated that. Unfortunately that night, there hot water heater went out. It was hard to get a straight answer from them what happened. Also in the middle of the night a strong sewer smell come from the bathroom. I had to wake up turn on the fan and close the door. On a positive side, the lady that checked us in was very friendly. The Free breakfast in the morning was good. The location is also good. The room was okay, a little out dated and needed a face lift. The air conditioning also didn't work. I called the front desk and tried to get some help but nothing happened. I ended up opening my windows and had to spray myself for mosquitos. Not sure we would go back.

Reviewed By Natalia SWhoever called this villa Royal had a great sense of humor. Negative points were: 1. bathroom! The bathroom is ready for a royal upgrade. 2. Electrical fittings need to be fixed! 3. It is very dark in the room even with lights on. And only 1 stool to sit on in a double room. 4. The website says that the hotel provides free shuttle service to the airport. It was also written on our booking confirmation. It appears to be "window decoration". The good part was that the hotel arranged pick up for us at the airport for 4 euro. But during our 5 minute ride to the hotel, the inflation in Montenegro apparently raised 50% and we were charged 6 euro by the driver. Good points were: 1. Good staff! Very friendly and helpful. No complaints about that. 2. Good breakfast. Very friendly lady in the kitchen. 3. good location. Close to the city center, bus station and airport. Actually you can walk everywhere. 4. the hotel provides tourist registration. 5. good wifi Actually we found our stay at this place quite ok. If the problems mentioned above are fixed, it will be absolutely a good place to stay in Tivat. As we found out - this business consists of 4 different properties. We booked through a hotel booking engine and that's when you get a greater chance to be sent to the cheapest accommodations. Let's hope that the other properties correspond more with the word royal.

Reviewed By DannyG0106The apartments are renovated, spacious and clean. Its proximity to the beach, Porto Montenegro, ferry and airport is outstanding. Owner was super friendly and helpful. I will visit it again in the summer.

Reviewed By 551mariannakThe hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. The rooms overlooking the marina were with breathtaking views. In very close proximity they have a secure 24-hours car parking. The breakfast has a lot of variety and is yummy. The staff were polite and very helpful.

The hostess was very kind and informed us what we could expect in which city and how to get there. She was always very kind and let us feel very welcome!

PERFECT LOCATION AND GREAT HOST
Reviewed By VukD18The Guesthouse is located directly on the main boardwalk in Tivat and "Porto Montenegro" is just a few steps away. The "Waikiki Beach" can easily be reached by foot. Our room was clean, well equipped and our host Danijela was very friendly and helpful! All in all, we didn't regret our choice and we are looking forward to our next trip to Tivat.

Reviewed By BGom87The hotel is in a perfect location super close to the old Marina. Restaurants and supermarkets around. The staff is super friendly. Rooms needs to be renovated a little bit (old fashioned style) but it is definitely good value for money.

Slow service and average food
Reviewed By Drsim87100 tables and only 1 vaiter. We waited over an hour for a single pizza which usually takes 10 minutes to make. Kitchen is extremely slow and small. If you are hungry i highly recommend staying away from this place as ypu will probably starve waiting for food which is of average quality.
