Reviewed By SingaporeSingWe visited this hotel the first month it was open in 2014 and chose to return again this year. It was wonderful then and it remains wonderful now. Down a quiet alley just off a main street. It's cool, safe, and quiet with great views on the higher floors. We arrived before our check in time and were offered a (legitimately tasty) breakfast and a place to store our bags in the meantime. We were kindly upgraded and the room was clean and comfortable. Zero complaints.

Reviewed By W7308ZAjakemThis hotel is amazing for the price. The room was clean and a good size, the bed was quite hard but it’s to be expected at this price point. The staff are super friendly and kind, upon our arrival we were given fresh fruits and juices by them, throughout the whole stay the staff were perfect. The breakfast was really good too, you just ordered whatever you wanted off the menu and could order as much as you wanted, on one occasion they encouraged us to order more food! The hotel is in a really good location too, if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Hue and you’re on a budget or just trying to save money this is the place to go.

Reviewed By logo369I was surprised when the driver dropped me off, I actually expected another hotel I had stayed before. I was put at ease by the smile and friendliness of the desk lady. It had been a long day and tired. She gave me a room in the 4th floor, I said to myself no elevator, I am tired. The young man there helped me with my heavy suitcase, he too was tired after hauling it up. I went down and they were laughing, she said she would move me the next day. That she did, I was very grateful for it. The room was nice and large, it was very comfortable for me. The staff was great and helpful arranging a trip for me. The location is great, near the walking street, a lot of restaurants and the river. Within 5 minutes by Grab or taxi to the Citadel. I plan to stay there next time I return. My only sorrow is that I forgot to tip, which is very embarrassing. I will atone first it.

Reviewed By Yari SEverything is perfect, very comfortable, people Who work here are nice and kind. I would come back! The rooms are perfectly clean and big. The place is very near to the center of Hue and they rent motorbike, which are very helpful and a pleasure to enjoy in the easy traffic with greatly coordinated vietnamese drivers (100% serious, it seems hard at beginning but it is really fun).

Charming Family Run Hotel
Reviewed By amanda5805We arrived mid day and the family who owns it was extremely welcoming. They were so sweet. Check in went very quick for having a group of 18. We were in room 101. Which was ground level. Right behind the check in desk. A road construction team started working outside around 7am and the walls were paper thin. Could hear the front desk clerk cell phone beep a lot . The rooms were big and the AC worked well. Beds were hard but very comfortable (my favourite). Bedding was good quality and very soft. It does needs a little touch up paint spots. Other then that the hotel has been well maintained and very clean. Towels were in rough shape but that is the worst I could find at this hotel. The bathroom was basic but good and clean. Don’t get me wrong I still did a b-e-d bug check that’s just who I am. I found no traces of them in our room. Wifi worked great! It’s in a good location. Close to lots of fun restaurants, bars, spas around & much more. But is about 6km to the imperial palace. Tourist bus can not fit down the alley to get to it so be prepared to pack your bags (which was not a problem for us). Cars some times can fit down the street depending how many bikes are parked on the road. Most of the time the cabs dropped us off on the road which made it 2 min walk to the hotel. Breakfast was included and delicious. We woke up here Christmas Morning. The whole family was wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas including their adorable little girl. The lovely family even walked with us the next morning to our bus to wave goodbye. We felt very safe at this hotel and walking around late at night in this neighbourhood. I would highly recommend this hotel

Reviewed By 246warrenmWe’re on a 4 week trip through SE Asia and as we near the end this homestay is among the 2 best places we have stayed. The hosts Tawzheng and Lien were an amazing couple. They radiate happiness and, of course, this creates a wonderful environment for guests. It’s nice to share that their enthusiasm is well-placed. They have much to be proud of as they’re clearly offering a superior travel experience. Their homestay is impeccable, modern and very well-located to many popular coffee shops and restaurants. The breakfast was outstanding, lots of choice and it was very good. We found the hosts to be very helpful in arranging last minute airport taxi and tours - the communication was immediate, professional and flawless, despite us needing to make some last minute requests. We wish we could have stayed longer, but if returning to Hue we wouldn’t even research other accommodation, this is where we’ll stay.

Reviewed By Irwin JA nice and clean room with a very confused bed fire a change. We somehow got the triple room, which is their vip room. Slightly larger bathroom and room than the others. The night staff struggle with English but the lady on in the mornings was good.

Perfect location but noisy and a poor night sleep
Reviewed By amysX1419PUThe homestay is located in the perfect position for the main attractions of Hue, close to a variety of good Western and local restaurants and bars. It's very reasonably priced and includes a good breakfast. The room and bedding was very clean. However, the room is incredibly noisy due to echoey high ceilings and thin walls so you can hear everything going on at reception where people are eating their breakfasts. It's impossible to have a lie in. There was a glass window leading out to the stairwell, and since there was no curtain and the light was on all night, the light was shining into our room, again disturbing our sleep. There was also a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom and the water was freezing cold. Our stay was what you would expect for the cheap price and for the 2 nights we stayed, it was fine but we wouldn't have stayed longer.
