Also the restaurant offers lunch and dinner and small snacks all day round. Really a nice location, great food, spacious rooms and newly renovated rooms as well.

Reviewed By Nestor CIt's safe to walk around during day and night. The room was always clean with nice shower. There's a good variety of cakes and break for the breakfast and they also serve fresh "tapioca". But it is not two blocks from Pajuçara Beach. It's Jatiúca Beach. To Pajuçara it's a little bit longer distance.

Reviewed By FruitcakeFWe had read mixed reviews and weren't sure what we would get, but the price seemed good for what you got. When left with the mixed feelings about the place. The positives: It's only a little walk to the beach and the breakfast spread was amazing - one the best whilst 7 weeks in Brazil! The room was very spacious and had hanging space, en-suite and a fridge. The receptionist Bruna was friendly and helpful. You can also get discounts for a boat trip if you stay. Met the owner once, he was also helpful and offered advice The negatives: At check in, no information was given about the discount for a boat trip, where breakfast was served. We were there for two days and it rained solidly, so couldn't go on the boat trip, and asked the other receptionist (not Bruna) for things to do.... She couldn't offer anything. Seemed she was there for check in and check out and not other services or help. However this was just one member of staff, at check out we met the other receptionist and she was great, as were the ladies who did breakfast and cleaning! Bedroom had no window so it was dark and relied on air con, no fresh air. Ask for a room facing a verandah with big sliding doors. People have mentioned the location being terrible - we didn't think it was terrible and it definitely did not feel unsafe. To manage your expectations: it is not on the sea front like the other places are (but it doesn't claim to be - so no false advertising!) and there is no alternative 'attractive view' so if you are wanting somewhere for the view or 'ambiance' of being in the 'buzz' you will not like this place. However, if you want a clean place within minutes of the sea front and the buzz, and don't mind the road which leads to it is not tarred, or sealed, (so when it rained there were a few puddles after the rain) and don't necessarily want to meet other people - but just somewhere to sleep and do your own thing - then it's good value.

Beautiful situation but passed sell-by date
Reviewed By ireland_timothyThe view from the hotel is magnificent although there was no view whatsoever from my room. The hotel is a bit dingy with fittings like taps all needing to be replaced. It also needs to be redecorated. The room itself was alright and the AC worked well. Breakfast was about average with everything looking a bit tired especially the fruit. But it is from the breakfast room that you have the best view which makes things taste better than they are. The coffee machine looked as though it deserved to be retired after a long life.

Reviewed By Seth FGood clean place, good prices, nice breakfast, wifi is spotty but works, shower did not drain but they moved us to another room. Overall best around for the price - we checked! Speak a little English and beds are nice and hard. Lots of rooms, try to get a sea facing if possible.

Reviewed By michal yWe have just one night in Maceio, unfortunately. We enjoyed every moment on the beach. The beach is of Brazilian locals and vacationers, suitable for those who prefer the style. There is a grocery near the hotel and restaurants and Acai Concept near. The room is large facing the patio - and window on the other side, the shower is excellent, clean, very rich and very Brazilian breakfast, Wifi fine. Br 125 per night.
