Let the day begin with a delicious breakfast, relax in the large garden or on our sun terrace and enjoy your best days of the year in the heart of Seeboden. Due to the central location you need only 2 minutes walk to the lake with its beach resorts and numerous recreational opportunities and parks, as well as the village center. In the immediate vicinity are restaurants, cafes, playgrounds and tennis courts, parks and beach resorts ect. Reviewed By Markus UA small, family-run B&B in a very nice, quiet setting within 5min of Lake Millstatt. Beautiful scenic views from the balcony. Car-parking on-site in the front yard. This business seems to be established in the early 1970's and neither interior decoration, general layout of the house nor the (very) elderly owners have changed since. The entire property seems to be like trapped in a 1970's time bubble. Rooms are very basic simple, but with well-maintained furniture: bed, chair, table, closet, small TV propped up on the wall. That's it. No frills, and spotlessly clean. Water sink is in the room, toilet and showers were across the (public) hallway, both very small, but workable. 1970's style. Simple Austrian-style breakfast with a strict scope, no extra wishes accepted. Reasonable value for money in this tourist hot-spot area. Proximity to the lake is a main asset on a hot summer weekend.

The atmosphere in the hotel is so great that you feel taken care of in a special way and everybody is focused on you. Every single element in the hotel is carefully arranged, elegant and every detail makes you feel very important and welcomed here. We feel being treated here as good friends who are looked forward. Exceptional food, restaurant service and every guest looked after by the owner himself in the restaurant make us feel great and relaxed during fantastic 5 course dinners after long days of skiing. Old pictures on the walls correspond to over 200 years of history and we really feel here like being looked after by generations of Moerisch family. We’ve booked the apartment, which is compleet with all kinds of nice features like coffee machine, water cooker oven, dishwasher etc in the kitchen. Complete bathroom, nice living etc. The bus will take you to the Goldeck and driving to the Katzberg will only take about half an hour. Great week! Thanks again!

Even though the hotel is situated right on the main thoroughfare through town, the rooms are quiet, facing the beautiful gardens and pool. Rooms are impeccably clean, and adjacent restaurant is well run, featuring excellent Austrian comfort food. Highly recommended for either a day or a week in this gorgeous part of Austria.

Canteen lunch with quality
Reviewed By Pok SWe didn't stay at this hotel but dropped by to have lunch. Although we were not residents they accepted that we took lunch a self-service style at 7.50 euro. There were two choices of potatoes gratin, with bacon or with vegetables, and a salad bar, fruit juice dispenser and drinking water. It was like going back to school again. The place was full of young travelling people full of energy and beauty. There are both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Millstättersee. Very beautiful. We had our lunch on the deck. It was a beautiful day time. There was also an open bar where you could buy drinks and coffees separately and pay for your lunch. Very impressed with this little find.

We assume that the hotel wasn't open as it was between seasons, but we were allowed to use a large room in the main house. Comfortable beds, immaculately clean, incredible breakfast. When we returned from breakfast, our room had already been cleaned. Very highly recommended

Reviewed By FrederikFaillieBooked one night here on our way to Croatia. Tip: some GPS systems let you leave the A10 an exit too early. Then you have to drive over the hill which is a narrow road. Make sure you exit the A10 in Seeboden: it's much easier and faster. There is plenty of parking on-site and hospitality of the owners (Dutch people) is excellent. It's a nice environment but from the B&B you don't have much view on the lake. We had a large room, with all comfort needed. Beds are very comfortable and WIFI-signal is pretty good here. though certain pictures of this accommodation still shows a pool in the garden, it is no longer there. To go to the lake you could walk but it is quit a distance and you have to climb when returning. Restaurants are in the valley and a little bit higher up the street. Breakfast at the B&B is excellent. This is certainly a B&B worth recommending

A good choice to ski at the Goldeck
Reviewed By Ulka TWe spent one week at the Pension Ertl in January 2017. We had two rooms appartment with a bathroom and a additional toilet (no 20). It had a fridge and the kitchen annex that is well equipped. Pension is located in the centre of Seeboden (Spar, Billa, Lidl and a bakery) that is a quiet little village. Pension in perfectly clean and repainted recently. The owners are very friendly and speak English. No problems with hot water nor central heating. New sauna accessible daily (that was a great relief after all day skiing) and a pool table. We also got a special discount for Goldeck skipasses (15%) and a card to free unlimited access to Drautal perle aquapark. Free good wi-fi accessible in the whole appartment. A good localisation for skiing at the Goldeck (about 15 min drive to the Goldeck parking). There is a skibus, circulating a few times in the morning, but the bus stop is a bit far to walk in a skiboots, especially with kids (approx. 150-200m). The pension also has its own parking place under the roof. And we had a sunny weather for a whole week. Nothing to complain about.

A 40Y old, tradition in family, but/and still with a smile and attention detail. Nice renovated and fully comfortable room and bathroom!
