Reviewed By Ged201I was here with 3 colleagues in the dead of winter. We were the only guests so it's hard to judge what this place is like when lively. The place could do with a cash injection, however, the hospitality was very good from all staff. Back in the area in a couple of weeks and will probably stay here again. The photo is sunrise from the car park!

Reviewed By AronB836We didn't expect too much at the time of the booking but as it turned out we should. The hotel itself is a renovated castle situated in a beautiful old park. The room was just the right size. The wellness was also better than expected. What makes this place better than the others is probably the calmness and a really peaceful atmosphere. The staff is extraordinary. They are truly friendly and helpful. The food was really delicious and during the dinner a band played really pleasant music. All together if you want some peace and bored by the fancy hotels visit this place!

Our server also offered some wine that accompanied the main perfectly. The restaurant’s location is superb with spectacular views. Will most definitely be returning here.

The fan was very welcome in the hot weather! We enjoyed the breakfasts which were always different and full of local produce. The evening meals were huge and the choice was impressive! Do not attempt to diet whilst you stay here! Highly recommend. Again!

Forgettable place
Reviewed By 137krisztinamBathroom is retro. We had no hot water in the shower. No proper dark curtains for the good night sleep. No air conditioning . Very noisy place as being in the cross of two streets and a 0-24 petrol statin in 50 m distance. The breakfast was poor and the staff not polite at all. I do not recommend to anybody.

Our accommodations can be found on two most beautiful places of Holloko. Kalaris Guesthouse stands on one of the highest points of Holloko. In this house we can accommodate 6 person in two apartments, extra beds are also available. The provincial house stands in the middle of the Old Village, which is part of the World Heritage. Here you can find accommodation for 2+2 person. We can't provide WiFi access in the provincial house.

The Ketbodony Apartment house- “The Owl Castle”-is situated in the South West part of Nograd county within 60-70 minutes of driving from Budapest.It is about 25kms from Balassagyarmat and approximately 30kms away from the city of Vac. The village of Ketbodony lays at the feet of Cserhat Mountains and hosts our gueshouse opened in 2014.

Minden apartmanban van kialakított konyharész, plusz az alagsorban egy nagy, jól felszerelt közösségi tér. Étterem pár perces sétára. Számunkra fontos volt, hogy kutyabarát és a Kéktúra útvonalán helyezkedik el.

A friendly apartment

It’s perfect if you only need to sleep in a comfortable room in the evenings and explore the area and nears cityes and attraction or you are hiking during the day. There is a place to sleep in the evening and watch TV and shower in the private bathroom.

It is better the restaurant than the rooms
Reviewed By Giandonato MI stayed here for two nights. The rooms are old and badly maintained. Of course it is not five stars hotel, but it should be a little more tidy. The bathroom is very small and the shower is broken. On the other side, the restaurant is good, they have Hungarian menù and I found all what I ate good. The waitresses are very polite and helpful. The right vote can be 2 and half.

Reviewed By Bence HCsupán másfél órával érkeztem előbb a nyitási idejüknél, de ennek ellenére beengedtek és még kávét is kaptam. Köszönöm a kedvességetek! Ha újra a Cserhátba kirándulnék biztos nálatok szállok meg! A kávé is finom volt!
