Reviewed By rohitb397Good hotel situated in Shillong city surrounded by the hills , the hotel rooms are situated at various area over 9 acres I stayed in valley facing rooms , Rooms were like a suite , with a very big hall and another bedroom attached to it The food at the restaurant was not good especially the chicken was found to be frozen and tough The breakfast was of good quality and changes everyday

Reviewed By Amod28Nice stay option in good location. We wanted to avoid police bazar location. Hence stayed at woodland. Nice big clean room with garden n open air restaurant. Service staff is superb. Young boys n girls are managing the property. Really good experience although bit costly.

Family run Homestay
Reviewed By Hari KWe enjoyed the stay here, the location (a bit away from the city traffic jams), and most of all, the hospitality. We had a cab hired from Guwahati and hence it did not matter that we were out of the city, and also helped in avoiding traffic every day to explore nature around Shillong! The food was nice too, and we particularly remember the nice Allo parottas that we had for breakfast!

Room service is best as each and every employee of the hotel had a smile on his face and always available for service with Rajasthani maan manuhar.

Reviewed By shrin54For Shillong, it has very large rooms. The bathrooms are well equipped. But the table in the room is small and difficult to work on. There is no tea-coffee maker in the room. There are some meeting rooms available for free in any short meetings have to be held. Breakfast is a very limited affair - with no fruits or juices. While lunch and dinner can be ordered there is not much variety on offer. The service offered is limited to what the staff can handle rather. than finding ways of meting customer requirements.

Stayed for 4 nights in Single room
Reviewed By Prome NStayed for 4 nights in a single room in end-April, 2018. Both the receptionists and stuff were friendly and well behaved. Took suggestion about local cuisine on arrival. The room was quite small, but was enough for a single traveler. Amenities: 1. TV with cable connection. 2. Water filled steel jug, one glass and a ash-tray. 3. One hanging cabinet. 4. One mini soap, one mini-pack shampoo. 5. Geyser - ask the room-service how to operate. Room rent was very reasonable compared to cleanliness and behavior. I started from Center Point down towards G.S. Road and this hotel seemed perfect for both single or group travelers and families. 1 minute walking distance to Center Point, check Google maps. Most of all, it was my first hotel on my first solo tour and end of the day I was satisfied. Points to be noted: 1. No Air Conditioning. Actually not needed one because of the weather of Shillong. 2. No WiFi. I took a sim from local market with 1 GB of data connectivity.

Apparently, the pictures are taken with a wide-angle lens. - The room I stayed in was so tiny. The washroom sink was smaller than my head. - It had a fake balcony. All balconies are fake with painted iron rods outside the wall. - I moved from the tiny room to the suite. I stayed 7 days and not even a single day there was house cleaning(no changing sheets, towels, garbage) because they do not have any staff other than one receptionist - There is no in-house kitchen staff. Breakfast is contracted to an outside person who often arrived late. Bread and egg is all you get. = Here is the kicker part. The tiny single room cost Rs 2500 and the suite Rs 5000 per night!!!

Reviewed By VickyChhedaIt is a budget homestay with spacious rooms. It has good parking space outside but rooms are quite ok. The heater was available but was not of good quality. All basic amenities were there that a homestay would have to offer. The only negative was they did not cook food for guests so we had to depend on outside food. Also, there is no power backup and there were couple of incidents of power outage, however it was back in sometime. The location of the homestay is really good. It is right in the center and very close to some of the famous attraction of Sohra.

An 3 storyed apartment building centrally located in the hub of shillong city, 10 mins walk from police bazar centre point and 7 mins walk from wards lake . We have 8 rooms with attached bathroom common hall ,dining area and kitchen. we also have a parking space . A supermarket ,restaurant and bank is just few steps away from the property.
