City break

I came here with my other half for one night! The room is really elegant, clean and beautiful. My other half says it is one of the best bathroom set ups he has ever seen, he loved the big oval mirror in front of the bed with the lights around and the double sink etc. It is designed very nice. The staff was friendly and check in was super efficient We loved the breakfast, lots of options and very big portions with a coffee and fresh orange juice. My only small comment is that the courtyard is beautiful but due to it being really cold we sat inside. This inside area could definitely be rearranged a little as you could tell the hotel wasn’t busy at this time as things were covered and they use it sort of like a storage, it was quite dusty.

My family member in Cyprus suggested we stay here in holiday. OMG! What a place! The rooms were very modern and efficient! The beds were super comfortable! Our balcony over looked a medieval castle. The breakfast which was included had so many choices for even picky eaters. Maria the night time reception was a gem! We highly recommend this hotel to travelers

Perfectly fine

Reviewed By B T

The stay was fine. Room a good size an clean, en suite with a TV and mini fridge. There is a restaurant but I didn’t use it. Staff seem friendly. Payment on departure. It’s a little rough around the edges and a little dated but perfectly fine for a few nights. Location is ok, a 24 hr shop a few doors down and a 10 min walk to leontiou bus station. A little further (20 mins or so) from the waterfront

Well no water in pipes so toilet won’t flush. Had hot water so had to put shower head in toilet tank to fill it up. Rather grumpy old man to check you in. Good location. Ants in the room. Hardest beds in the universe. I don’t think I would stay here again. Breakfast café is excellent

Lovely room, shame about the building site opposite

Reviewed By Jenny S

Beautiful hotel, fabulously comfortable bed, great shower, stylish and unusual frosted glass bathroom pods, and a great location not far from the restaurants of the Old Town. But a big downside was the noisy building site right opposite our room. This has clearly caused problems, as our window was blanked off with acoustic insulation, so the only way we could look outside or get any daylight was to open the window. Obviously this is not going to be a problem forever, and the hotel can't do anything about the building site, but it felt very claustrophobic and did spoil our stay.

Perfect location

Reviewed By DareToTravel44

Location is perfect!! Just few steps from marina and promenade, 5 minutes walk from city centre and all restaurant and bars. It's minimalistic design, industrial. There is beautiful roof terrace and bar at the ground floor with coffee machine, fridge. Host was super helpful with everything. He helped us with parking and all things that we would need. The only thing that we were missing is mirror in the room, there is only one in the toilet.

Castle Holiday Apartments

Castle holiday apartments, Limassol

Reviewed By steveeL749SV

Listen up! We booked an apartment at Castle Holiday Apartments based on the description and photos on Booking.com Having stayed in Cyprus, mostly in self catering accommodation over 40 years, we were shocked at the poor condition of the apartment. The carefully presented photos with strategically placed bright colours totally mislead you from the truth of the dingy run down apartment we found ourselves in. When we spoke with the manager we were told that we had booked the cheapest most basic apartment in their block. As it was the last available apartment left when we booked and relying on the photos of what looked like an elegant apartment, we happily booked. We certainly had not booked a cheap or basic apartment- but below basic is what we got. Nothing worked properly and we had 3 miserable nights there without sleep and having paid in advance were told by Booking.com and the manager that if we left the apartment they would not make a refund nor would Booking.com find us alternative accommodation. We left the apartment and went back to Alva Apartments in Protaras where we had a delightful stay for the last 6 days of our holiday. Avoid these apartments.
