Whitestrand B&B

A Piece of Heaven on Earth

Reviewed By jlaiken65

We will be back! Truly, our visit booked since April 2019 but delayed due to the pandemic, was a piece of Heaven on Earth. Our hostess, Mary, is a beautifully kind spirit going the extra mile for her guests at Whitestrand B&B. From the fabulous breakfasts each morning to the immaculate rooms and the amazing Irish countryside draped in emerald green framed by the blue of the Atlantic, we could not have asked for more. Sheep and cows lazily grazing within feet of bedroom windows and paths made for the quintessential Irish experience. In walking distance to the local eatery, pub and store, our group of five adults from age 20 to 56 always felt safe and welcome by all the lovely residents! Thank you, Mary Houghton for making us fall in love with Whitestrand B&B and Malin Head, Ireland. We will be back!

Don and his wife were amazing hosts! The location is so perfect and lovely. The scenery you get from here is worth a million dollars. Everything was really clean and had everything we needed. The shower was amazing! They have a selection of cereals and coffee in the morning. Super friendly service and will be recommending to everyone we know.

From entering and taking in the view to experiencing the warmest of welcomes on one of the stormiest days. Everything was faultless. Our room and the views were breathtaking, with the weather changing every hour we really couldn’t ask for more. Amazing attention to detail , friendly service but also very chilled. Breakfast was so lovely and we really did not want to leave. Enjoyed the banter and we will definitely be back. Thanks again for everything, Shaunà and Stephen
