Reviewed By nides77First of all this hotel is not on the caldera side of santorini-which for us was a real advantage. We avoided the crowds, less windy and woke up to a beautiful open view every morning. The caldera side is on the other side of the road. The hotel-small and intimate. Lots of steps. 2 bed ‘villa’- both ensuite with kitchenette and small pool. Coffee pods and aptiva toiletries. Food- a la carte breakfast served outside. Lovely treat of poached eggs, scrambled eggs with feta and waffles with fresh fruit. The sweetest fresh orange juice. Dinner served outside- a great santorini salad and fresh fish. The virgin strawberry mojito addictive. Don’t miss the mixed Greek desserts! Staff-outstanding. Worked really hard and deserve to be rewarded. Car park for around 10 vehicles. Easy to drive to but steep, narrow roads in santorini. 15 mins from airport. Reasonably priced for a relaxed vibe hotel.

Its not too far from the main road and bus stop, and there are supermarkets, car rentals and great restaurants within close walking distance. The morning breakfast was wonderful especially the greek coffee, and I enjoyed letting the front desk know my selected breakfast choice from the list, each night in advance. I stayed in the honeymoon suite (with jaccuzzi and caldera view), however the patio area is not abosultely private, as guests staying in the adjacent suite continually kept walking into my front patio area in order to make their way to the exit gate. This became annoying, distracting and prevented me from having a good rest outside. The front desk manager was helpful in providing advice for sight seeing areas/ tours and car rentals. Overall the experience with Avianto suites was good, apart from the point mentioned above.

Reviewed By vaidastVery nice quite and comfortable place. It doesn’t face caldera but it’s only 5-10 min walk to view caldera. We were on the second floor with sea view. It has little nice balcony where we could see some Santorini countryside and ocean in the far. Very beautiful sunrises from the balcony. If this hotel was on caldera side they would be charging at least 3-5 times more. You stay at a nice hotel and save 100-300EUR every night by walking 5-10min to caldera side.

Ayoba is not a formal word. It’s a made-up one that originates from the townships of South Africa where it’s used to express appreciation of good dancing! It is slang for “cool, alright, ok” (or any other expression of approval!). In Zulu, it means “will be”. Ayoba is a feel-good word. It takes us to our happy place. A place that’s more than alright actually, better then cool: our ravishing slice of Santorini. We have toiled passionately for years for what “will be” and the result is our Ayoba.

Reviewed By frakiesdadFantastic little hotel with incredible views close by. Everything you need is here from small cafés to restaurants and bars. For a more personal touch I would advise renting one of the 4 wheel bikes so you can explore at your own leisure. Brilliant and the warm air on the bike was great. Manolis at Ayoba was a superb host and so friendly

Great view and even though we did not use the pool due to the weather a bit cold and very windy, we enjoy a lot the location...The owners were outstanding and extremely helpful, arranged transportation to/from the airport and even booked a time in a near by pharmacy so we could do our Covid 19 test to come back...every day they had suggestions and tips for sightseeing...the location was walking distance from Fira and they gave us instructions about bus, taxis and renting cars and ATV to better enjoy the island....I would highly recommend and the stay was fantastic!

An Idyllic Location in Santorini
Reviewed By SamRead21Everything was perfect for our honeymoon. A spacious villa/suite overlooking the Caldera, with relaxing in the hot tub each evening. Valentini and Ismail (who stays on site) could not have been more helpful throughout our stay, and Ismail prepares and then serves a fabulous breakfast each day. The views are probably the best in Santorini, with Imerovigli being a 30-min walk away from Fira, which is great as you're away from the busy streets in the main town.

The accommodation is private, intimate, and spotlessly cleaned daily - true high end accommodation in Imerovigli, Santorini - 5 stars! The plunge pool on the terrace overlooking the cliff was the icing on the cake! And the staff are so welcoming and accommodating - a magnificent place to holiday! Louisa (Villa manager) and her team showed our family true Greek hospitality, serving our needs effortlessly. Louisa answered all our queries, gave many recommendations on places to eat and visit, and booked all the reservations for us. Alex delivered us a lovely Greek breakfast on the terrace each morning, often bringing extra Greek specialties for our two young boys to feast on - it was most kind. And the rest of the team gave us a seamless stay, working around our personal time to clean and make our stay most enjoyable. Imerovigli, in my opinion has the best views of the Caldera, and the the view from our terrace was pristine and unblocked by any building, cliff or person... something I searched long and hard to find. Eden Villas has a true unimpeded view of the Caldera. We stayed for 8 nights, alternating between going out and experiencing the lively local towns of Imerovigli and Fira (both walking distance), and Oia and other parts of the island which were a drive away - nothing is too far though. The villa location is perfect for day trips, located in the middle of the island; and, perfect for walking to the local buzzing towns and shops which are all open late in true Greek style. Thank you Louisa, Alex and team for one of the most enjoyable and memorable holidays our family has had. Etienne still speaks of the "Santorini Mullet" (fresh fish) at one of the Tavernas you recommended. Much love to you all!
