Generally a quiet place graced with lovely terrain for strolling, Glastonbury is very busy in the summer because of its music festival. Best known for contemporary music, the festival has attracted almost 200,000 people in recent years (whereas Glastonbury's full-time population is only 9,000 or so). There are a number of historical monuments to see in the area, including Glastonbury Lake Village, Glastonbury Abbey and the Somerset Rural Life Museum. We can't say that the weather is always good, but on a sunny day you can't go wrong!

A traditional 15th-century village pub with nine letting rooms all with en-suite showers and baths, recently fully refurbished to a high standard and awarded Visit England 3 star rating. New for 2018, two ground floor courtyard rooms with luxury en-suite wet rooms, easy level access. Great selection of drinks from wines and beers to ciders and spirits. Dog friendly. Only two miles from the world famous Somerset town of Glastonbury
Our first opportunity to visit since it’s make over during covid. A nice luncheon for two, ribs with chips and salad, followed by dessert. A fresh pint of Cheeky Monkey or two. A warm welcome and friendly chatter with the front of house team. Definitely worth the effort of walking there. Walking back after was understandably more difficult but equally worth it. The menu is a little different in its content so be prepared to have to deliberate over the choices. There’s some wonderful flavour pairings on offer. The tempura gherkin was a revelation!

Boutique Hotel, Restaurant and Bar in the centre of Glastonbury
The food was fantastic and Alex was an incredible host. The Vietnamese spring rolls especially were a great starter. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal in the Glastonbury area.

A welcoming Edwardian Town House all rooms are en-suite with multi channel TV and Wireless Internet Access. Comfy beds, fluffy towels and a hearty breakfast thrown in.
The Glastonbury Townhouse, is one of the BEST bed and breakfast we've stayed in. Paula, the host is fantastic, so friendly, helpful, gives you plenty of great information on Glastonbury, with great recommendations. Her breakfasts are out of this world. The rooms, linen, towels, EVERTHING was spotlessly clean, you could literally eat off of the floor, and I am extremely fussy, due to OCD traits. It's so perfect we've booked again! There's parking out the front. The use of the fabulous back garden is a bonus, it really is fantastic on a beautiful day! It's the perfect bed and breakfast with the perfect host and perfect location, what more could anyone else want! Absolutely 10 out of 10 with 5 GOLD STARS from us. Blessings to Paula and her family.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation
We had the most wonderful night at Chestnut B&B. The hosts were so welcoming and went out of their way to give us the most brilliant vegan breakfast selection. We had so much to choose from- fresh bread, fruits, berries, vegan cheeses, yogurts, 3 types of milk, 10 types of cereal. It was above and beyond! The room was spotless, bed comfy and shower excellent. The whole house just has a lovely energy to it plus it's only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Glastonbury town which was perfect. we couldn't reccomend this b&b more, and we shall certainly be back and will convince our friends and family to book too! Thank you so much to you both.

We loved this place, so charming and full of character. The hosts were so nice, and the breakfast was superb. We had the room with the balcony, it was small, clean, lovely hot shower, soft towels and comfy bed, the balcony was a bonus. I would highly recommend this lovely place, minutes away from Ham wall nature reserve (starling murmurations)

No.1 Park Terrace is situated close to the town shopping facilities, within easy walking distance of the High Street and Glastonbury Abbey ruins. There is ample car parking space to the rear of the property. We are also close to a bus-stop for local public transport connections.
Stayed here for one night to visit Glastonbury. It’s no longer a b&b but had a fully equipped kitchen, essential items left for us by super owner Joanna and Morrison’s is a stones throw away if you needed anything. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, perfect en suite shower room and easy walking distance from the town centre, leave the car and off you go, perfect! I think it might be closed now for a while for redecorating but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again?.

Inside this light and elegant Edwardian mansion you will find fine architectural features, charming furniture, fresh flowers, vibrant paintings and compelling sculptures. There are long views over garden and town from the large, light sitting room; bedrooms have spoilingly serious mattresses, thick curtains and sleek, contemporary bathrooms. Breakfast is enormous and locally sourced, cakes are home made. Just a minute's walk from the town center with its lively mix of exotic shops and colorful characters.
