However was really additional wish restaurant would charge for. The size of which meant I could not finish my main. This is terrible service and in most countries would be considered sharp practice. Avoid this restaurant staff obviously have targets to meet on min of two courses at any cost, the waiter serving the neighbouring table asked them three times if they wanted the salad.

Gather new strength and energy. The Hotel Alpenland in the heart of the enchanting alpine village of Gerlos is close to everything. In the winter the downhill run ends across the street. The ski and hiking bus stop and access to the walking paths are located within 50 meters. A small boutique, the local hairdresser, banks, all the restaurants, ski rentals and our own shop for your daily needs, souvenirs and international magazines are located right next door. And in the evening, the lively apres ski and nightlife of Gerlos is only steps away. We thank you for exploring our family's hotel and looking forward to seeing you!

Reviewed By Kitty-KK345Fabulous hotel very clean Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of tasty food. Peter and his staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to help. My partner and I had a wonderful 5 night stay and couldn’t recommend hotel Garni Alpenland enough!!

4-stars-standard, Small and individual, furnished in Tyrolean style combined with classic style elements. Our hotel accommodates max. 40 guests in comfortable and spacious rooms and offers an extensive breakfast buffet. The hotel is located directly on the B 165, in best accessibility, but in a quiet location in the village and only 3 minutes away from the center of Gerlos. We are open from mid of Mai till the end of September.
Perfect Gerlos Accomodation
Reviewed By henkjaanseRooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was exellent, and the owner and other personell are all very friendly and helpfull, and spoke English very well. We checked in early, were welcomed with a coffee. The location is perfect, very close to the lifts. When we return to Gerlos, we 100% will stay here again. Worth every penny.

A Bad Experience
Reviewed By JuanRodolfoAlfonsoHotel Victoria is a 4 stars hotel, but in reality we didn't think it deserves this rating. The most appalling thing is the smell of smoke that permeates the entire hotel. Every time we entered or left the hotel we had to hold our breath in order not to inhale it. The bar inside Victoria still allows smoking in this day and age and the smoke travels through the whole hotel. It's disgusting. Also, the breakfast is unsatisfying. The fruit bowl didn't get renewed and it was full of rotten or inedible kiwi's and oranges. I think this is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. Besides, we couldn't enjoy the fresh air in our room either, since, every time we would open the window the smell of frying from the kitchen below would enter our room. Furthermore, the lady in charge of this hotel is not friendly. The price is too high for what you get. We have been in other hotels in Gerlos, which we think are much better. Examples: Jägerhof, Ferienhof. It's better to get accommodation there.

Great family owned hotel with superb kitchen
Reviewed By GerryUSAVery friendly owners and staff, comfortable rooms (just wish they had a mini fridge). excellent meals, both breakfast and dinner (half board) were delicious each time with lots of choices. The pool is small but sufficient. There's an elevator, a small children's playroom and a trampoline for the kids outside. A small supermarket is in very close by and the Isskogelbahn is reachable in a few minutes by foot. Lots of fun things to do nearby like Wasserwelten & Wasserfaelle Krimml, Flying Fox XXL, Latchenalm, Fichtenschloss in Zell am Ziller etc. etc. We had a family room. The kids enjoyed the bunk bed and their own TV.

Excellent destination to relax and mountain hiking: AlpenRose
Reviewed By ArktorinWe've stayed 11 days in AlpenRose. This was our 2nd year in this Hotel. Both occasions we were satisfied with the comfort level and the services. The owners are actively participating in the life of the hotel, good source of information, lovely to chat with them in german or english. They provided us with vital information about the surrounding programs, hiking possibilities, gastro experiences, etc... The hotel itself is located next to the creek in the village center and some trails. Everything is within 10 minutes on foot. The village itself is a lovely gem in the Austrian Alps. Mountains everywhere with trails everywhere in every possible difficulty level. Several lakes, to swim, to beach or to row. Some glaciers are within an hour by car. You can rent an e-bike, paraglide, row on a SUP, whatever you can come up with. Playgrounds everywhere, also forest adventure park for kids and adults in the village. We had such a great time here, we are already planning next year activities here.

DAS GERLOS ist kein typisches Tiroler Hotel - wir sind small, smart, simple. Aber mit Stil! Hier bieten wir dir, was im Urlaub am wichtigsten ist - und das in bester Qualität. Richtig gut schlafen, richtig gut frühstücken, richtig viel Freiraum für mach-genau-was-du-willst. Das Gerlos ist gedacht für alle, die von Bergen, Natur und Design genauso begeistert sind wie wir. Ohne Schnick, mit Schnack, das ist der Platz für deine Auszeit in den Tiroler Bergen.

Reviewed By andresmits-1We stayed in the Penthouse suite of Hotel DAS GERLOS and I'm pretty sure this is the best room in Gerlos. The hotel is really something different than your typical Austrian hotel and we love it! It's modern and stylish and the service is phenomenal. The entire hotel staff is super friendly and the breakfast is one of the best we've ever had. Everything is fresh and made with love. The great thing is that you can ski or snowboard from the top of the mountain all the way to the front door of the hotel, put your ski's and snowboard in the skilocker and head straight to the sauna with a beautiful view. I'd highly recommend DAS GERLOS to anyone!
