Amazing conference venues

Good service and beautiful gardens filled with an unusually good variety of flowering plants. We just stopped by to have a look around and drink a fresh juice. Staff were attentive and we were served quickly. We had a tour of the banda-type rooms, which we liked. Very spacious, clean, each with its own modern fitted bathroom and separate balcony. This would be a good place for groups to stay especially if hiring conference rooms. There's a tiny chapel in the gardens. Kids’ activities (a zip line?) was being constructed at the time of writing. The fashion/ gift shop sells high quality products. I'd like to stay here if I was hosting one of my digital marketing training events. They have two venues for meetings / conferences.

Sheevys Bed and Breakfast

One night at Tooro Kingdom

Reviewed By deejaypeebee

The place is small and quiet on the outskirts of town with a beautiful garden to hang out or, if like me, to work. I was received warmly by the owner despite booking at the last minute ?. And the rest of the staff are friendly. The rooms are enough for one person, nice comfy bed with clean and fresh pillows and warm blanket. Full shower amenities and clean. Warm (and can be very hot so be careful) water.

Great Atmosphere

Reviewed By CharlieBeau

Ataco Country Resort is a well-known and popular venue, a few km south of Fort Portal off the Kasese Road. It looks old-fashioned compared to many of the new hotels in Fort Portal yet it's a reliable option with well-trained, friendly staff. We passed by for a drink without a booking and had a very friendly reception from everyone we met. The gardens and pool are well tended. Swimming is just 10k per person. We will definitely revisit soon.

Room with a View

Reviewed By Edward38E

I arrived extremely exhausted from a long day’s field work. Hotels in Fort Portal are generally expensive. The locals tell me because, “it’s a tourist district.” So expect to pay slightly higher for even the most normal hotel. For Reinah Tourist Hotel, I was first skeptical about a hotel that shares its space with other businesses-unrelated to the hotel. Well, the hotel turned out to be good. I slept at the upper most floor which had a fantastic view of the Tooro Kingdom Palace and the Rwenzori Ranges. The noise slightly subdued, but still heard as it’s located on the Main Street in town. I tried Goat Stew, Irish Potatoes And Rice for dinner, but didn’t enjoy much. It might have been the wrong choice for me, but it didn’t taste as good. The breakfast is just Okay. Limited in choice, but okay. The Staff are friendly and the hotel is neat clean.

Great place in Fort Portal

We stayed for one week in this place, it is a very calm place in a very nice and green area of the town and not far at all from the town center. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the gardens are very nice and well maintained. The staff and management of the hotel were definetly very nice, attentive and helpful, so it is for sure a place to recommend and to go back when I'll have a new opportunity.
