The guest house, Les Jardins De Villa Maroc is the annex of the Riad Villa Maroc in Essaouira. It is a place in the middle of the Thuya forest, the Argan tree, the Carob tree and the Olives tree Ideal for those wishing to rest from the stresses of cities. The house consists of a large family suite, a Menzeh suite with forest view, a double room with pool view and a studio with a surface of 65 m2 with its own kitchenette. The Gardens of Villa Maroc has a private swimming pool for the guests of the house and a large heated swimming pool with restaurant for guests of Villa Maroc and guests of passage under reservation.
Stunning dome-houses!
Reviewed By SarahB14211Les Jardins de Villa Maroc, located 10 min drive from Essaouira, is a wonderful oasis of peace and comfort. Especially the dome-houses are stunning due to their unique construction and offer a very pleasant Indoor temperature. On the other side of the complex is the garden with the beautiful pool. Everything is very nicely designed and the eclectic style with the colorful furniture gives the place a lot of charm. The service was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best we had so far in Morocco. Everything would have been perfect if we hadn't made use of the horseback-riding offer by the hotel. The hotel brings you to the riding stables, wich are clean and the the horses are well maintained. Unfortunately it looks different with the staff. Unfriendly and completely useless guide accompanied us on the sunset ride. He was more interested to speak on his phone than with us. When we were on the way back home my daughter's horse felt the need to go back to the stables and suddenly go’s into a rapid gallop. The guide far behind didn't have the situation under control at all. My daughter fell in full gallop of the horse. Also my horse could no longer be stopped (I am an experienced rider) and I have been shaken off the horse in rodeo style! There we lay with torn ligaments and a sprained vertebra. The guide only yelled at us, the situation was out of control. We were picked up by a quad (I had to call them) and brought to the stables. There was never an apology from the stable, and the guide just disappeared. The hotel manager was nice and drove us to the clinic in Easaouira. We were lucky we didn’t had more serious injuries! But unfortunately our vacation was „over" after this incident. We just waited for a flight back to Switzerland….so therefor just a 4 Star rating.

Reviewed By will10758We were a party of three staying two nights in Essaouira in April 2022. We stayed in two magnificent rooms on the first floor of the Riad and couldn’t recommend Lunetoile more. The Riad is situated right in the middle of the ancient medina only ten minutes walk from the coach terminal (Supratours from Marrakech and other destinations) and moments from the sea. We were warmly welcomed by Sue, Kabira and Latifa who served us mint tea and home made biscuits whilst providing us with a host of recommendations for places to see and things to do in Essaouira. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. There is a roof top terrace with tremendous views out over the Atlantic and a lovely sheltered space if the wind is blowing (Essaouira is a windy spot!). The breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much bother for Sue and her friendly team to sort out (including booking spas and local dinner reservations). Would definitely return to this riad.

We were looked after like old friends with good advice about places to visit and things to do. Fantastic varied breakfasts were a highlight. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and beautiful and overall this was truly excellent value for money. They arranged car hire for us and gave us their contact details in case we got into trouble. I can't recommend this placed enough. Well done to both of you.

The most relaxing holiday I have ever had, a perfect setting with perfect facilities and lovely dog too. Delicious food served every day, morning, noon and night. Thank you to you both and Abdul too. The breakfast is fantastic, and you get excellent service during your stay. Our family loved every minute of our stay, and we would love to come again some day to enjoy the hospitality and lovely decor in this outstanding setting. The restaurant is also of a really high standard. Thank you Emma, Gilles et Abdel for 5 absolutely wonderful days. The perfect place if you are looking for a place to relax.

We’ve stayed there one night, we’re the first customers this year and the stay was fantastic and very relaxing. The pool is beautiful, there are multiple cozy seating areas, the interior is tastefully decorated, the surrounding area is green and idyllic and on top of it all the food is amazing and traditionally moroccan! The place is perfect for relaxing and calming down a bit and the employees are very friendly.
