Reviewed By 100asmaحجزته ليلة واحدة بعد عودتنا من املج التصميم جميل ومرتب والاثاث فاخر ونظيف . مناسب لنا ثلاثة كبار . غرفة رئيسية كبيرة بخزائن وكواية وطاولة كوي وحمام وادوات عناية شخصية .الفوط مغلفة . طلبنا بطانيات واحضروا لنا بطانيات نظيفة .الارائك بالصالة احداها طويلة والاخرى قصيرة مناسبة للنوم . ثلاجة وغلاية وشاي ومجلى. لايوجد صحون ولا سكاكين ولما طلبناها من الاستقبال لم يوفروها لنا. النت ضعيف جدا لايعمل . اشكال السكن ثلاثةاما شرفة اومسبح او بدونهما. موقف سيارة قريب من الغرفة . مسبح خاص بالغرفة .مسبح مشترك كبير . حديقة وجلسات ومطل . شاطىء كبير يوجد به عدة انشطة عامة دبابات وخيول ودراجات ومثلجات .يوجد مسجد صغير . الحجز مع الافطار لشخصين فقط والثالث يدفع 50 ريال . يمكن استئجار اكثر من غرفة وتكون مفتوحة على بعض للعائلات الكبيرة. مكان الافطار كبير واسع مرتب اثاثه جميل جدا . اعجبني وجود علب ماء على طاولات الاكل . يوجد حواجز . لا يوجد عصير او فاكهة طازجة. لا يوجد مغسلة او دورة المياه بالقرب من قاعة الافطار. النزول للشاطىء غير مناسب لذوي الاحتياجات . اذا ذهبت لينبع مرة اخرى ساسكن هنا وانصح احبابي.

A Business trip emerged and the next thing i know, i was on a flight, heading towards Saudi Arabia's newest and trendiest touristic destination, AlUla! You've probably seen it in advertising, with rocking terrains, mesmerizing ruins, and lush green spaces in the middle of a rocky region, makes it a great destination for those seeking a calming and relaxed environment. The great people at travel handled my booking, and the next thing i know, i was booked for a night at Shaden Resort, a luxury resort in the middle of the mountains, in a secluded, serene location, that makes it perfect for a rewind after an early flight, a 3 hours drive, and a day full of meetings. I arrived to the hotel at around 4pm, and was taken by the sandy driveway, which somehow reflects the surrounding region. A stroll through security who didn't bother asking, and i found myself facing the reception "tent", which is literally a tend erected at the entrance, right next to a car advertising with a real car. 1990s Champions League finals kinda car advertising if you remember them. I walked into the tent, and while i found myself inside a Bedouin styled tent, with 2 staff members who i assume are receptionists, who really failed to reflect the enthusiasm and feel of a place that i supposed to be worth a journey. I got checked in, and found out that i had to continue driving my car towards the room, with no checking whatsoever whether i need help with my luggage, or whether anyone from concierge will meet me there. I drove my car and after asking a couple people, i found where my "villa" was, i had to park the car in a sandy driveway, and while i understand and appreciate the need for it to be compatible to the surrounding, why not make it hard stone road? at least i'd make sure my shoes aren't in need for polishing every time i walk in and out of my place? While going out of the car, someone approached me from far away, literally waving hands, and screaming whether i need help or not! Sort of a supermarket helper, who insists on helping you with loading your bags, but in a $500 setting! After politely declining, since i only had a small carry on, i got to the room, swiped the card, and in we go! The room was spacious, but not spacious enough to write home about, i definitely appreciated the large shower area, the Nespresso machine, the large bed with plush pillows, yet i am not so sure about the blanket and its quality! It felt more synthetic that cotton, which you wouldn't expect in such a place. The room had all the amenities, alongside documents that have your wifi password, restaurant timing and so on. One thing which i felt while checking in, was that the staff were so much in a hurry to get rid of me, that they kept answering every question i had with the same (You can find it in the brochure in your room) answer! It's as if, exerting energy to help an arriving guest, isn't something they're willing to do? I loved the outdoor area, with comfortable bamboo seating, perfectly padded, and well lit at night to enjoy the perimeter without doing any light interference from your room. I definitely enjoyed a Cigar outside, in a chilled, amusing weather. At night the whole hotel gets lit with candle-like lights, which gives a great mood and adds to the ambience. I didn't have the chance to enjoy dinner, as it was Ramadan, and my business meetings already had dinner planned, so i'll be skipping on evaluating their food services. Yet, the next day, and when checking out, i had 1 question in mind... Did i just pay $500 for that? On checkout, the service was even more cold; the front office lady seemed to be busy playing a game while sitting on the couch, and literally had to jump out when seeing me, only to tell me that my name doesn't exist on my room's booking! It took a few minutes back and forth for her to find me, and without any question in regard to how my stay was, i got a simple nod and an "ok all is good", and was sent out my way! I mean don't get me wrong, AlUla is amazing, the views are mesmerizing, and i am definitely planning on going back with the Mrs., but i honestly did not get anything different from what a $200 hotel would give me somewhere else, in terms of room offering, amenities or service. I was definitely expecting a better, more attentive service, one that makes you feel you're in Saudis Touristic Hotspot, in the beautiful city of AlUla, and in such an establishment, yet the hotel has a lot in lacking, and definitely needs a strong brand name to take over if they are to survive! Look, Shaden isn't bad, at least my 1 night experience wasn't bad at all, yet for $500 a night, i'd say that yes it was missing a lot of things, and attentive service is the very first. Will i come back? Hmmm I really doubt it, at least not with the same approach.

La stanza era stranamente fredda. Consiglio magari se si è dì passaggio per una notte. Gentile il ragazzo alla reception.
