The Miner's Arms Freehouse is a local pub for the local community. We serve a full range of beers, lagers and cask ales. We also do a range of Quality Bar Snacks.

The miners arms is my local, and the best pub to have as my local, atmosphere is always lovely, drinks aren’t too expensive and the cocktails are to die for! Wish they would serve food as they are missing a trick as it’s a lovely pub that id no hesitate to dine in. Owners are always around and very friendly and bar staff are brilliant especially a young girl named Hannah who always has a chat with me and brightens up the pub

Thirst Edition

Ground floor level shop converted into a micro pub which can seat around 24 comfortably and 15 - 20 standing. It has a brightly lit clean toilet and is easily accessible by people that may be disabled. The lighting is steam punk style using copper pipework with Edison wall lights and leds in the ceiling. It is also air conditioned, (not seen in many micro pubs) making it very comfortable in the hot weather. We have blues and popular music on occasionally.

A traditional pub serving an ever changing range of up to 12 real ales featuring beers from Oakham Ales, Grainstore Brewery and many other micro breweries. It is not just about the ales as you can enjoy a glass of fine wine from our independent wine merchant, lovely to sup in our sunny courtyard garden or sample from a selection of gins and malt whiskies.

The Merrie Lion

Reviewed By DuplicateScreenName - Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

Stayed here last week and had a great time. The pub is a real community hub, and has a great buzz about it. The staff are great and the locals are very friendly. I tried a couple of real ales on the bar and dived into a lovely belly of pork for my dinner. All reasonably priced and to a very high standard, great value. The room I stayed in was their 'King' offering. All the rooms are less than three months old since the original opening. Very nice, I was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with a rain forest shower head thingy provided. The smart TV was large size, and their wi-fi was really fast. The bed was really comfortable and the room was quiet so I slept in late, then dealt with some emails, Went for breakfast, and I've got to say the full English is one of the best I've ever had, and I've been stopping away for business for over 15 years. They have a lot of things to be very proud of here. A million reasons for me to go back, and recommend to my colleagues and friends.
