My mate and I wanted a couple of drinks after the Christmas market closed and went looking down a street and stumbled across The Shepherd. You go up an ally and are met by the smoking area and a dark door... don't let that put you off. It's great down stairs. Full of character and fun. There's a really good atmosphere and it was really quite busy. It's obviously a popular place with locals and has a really large range of drinks and shots etc. The ceiling is decorated with different flags and the walls are covered in photos and international signs etc. The bar staff are really nice and friendly and speak excellent English. It's a really good place. I would definitely recommend it.

It’s not only the best cocktail bar in Iasi, but probably one of the nicest places of its kind in the country. The guys at the bar are so skillful and friendly that they’ll just prepare any drink you wish for. But try first their own cocktail menu, it’s full of surprises.
