Reviewed By jayblow83i stayed here on and off for the last two years. my favourite. im proud to call Tony, Carolina and Ben my friends. i should have posted this review a while back .. but us travellers ... u know what we like. it has everything. the private rooms are luxury, and now they have a dorm room too. one of the coolest dorms youll stay in, open the door and sit on the balcony and just look out over the sand and ocean. the food is amazing, my favourites are the fish tacos and the pizzas. best advice , grab a cocktail and a pizza and find a table near the beach, that way youy can eat and drink with your feet in the sand.

Reviewed By walter2808I loved my stay at San Marco Taganga. The hostel is brand new, spotless, it has a great view of the village ( seaview and mountains) and all the facilities that you need. The breakfast is ok ( 6000 COp).The dorm room was big,provided with ac , tv and en-suite bathroom!! The Staff is very helpful and friendly ( particularly Gloria, Victor,Gina and Mary). The only thing that I didn't like is about the security of the village..day and night people are bothering you trying to sell you drugs and other stuff. It can be very sketchy at night and security could be improved much better! I would definitely stay at this hostel again.

The worst place i ever been!
Reviewed By BoardingPass673498I Will recommend you to avoid this place! It's was horrible. The bed and the sheets smells bad and was dirty. On booking it's said it was included kitchen but when we got there the manager told us if we want to use the kitchen we need to pay extra. The People who was there was smoked weed all day. And one of them knocked at our door in the middle of the night staying it's the police. He probably want to see if somebody is in the room the steall our stuff.

Indoor pool on the first floor, jacuzzi, kiosks with hammocks, kitchen for guests, private parking, 24-hour reception. Green Light offers internet and Wi-Fi connection. And a breakfast included in most rooms. Some prices, such as the dormitory with fan or air conditioning, do not include breakfast to offer our lowest rates. We also offer you a delicious restaurant where we offer excellent meals typical of the Caribbean region. at competitive prices. The hotel has an open bar variety of cocktails, domestic and foreign drinks. In addition, pool table, board games and good music. Ideal to rest and enjoy its sunsets and sunrises, Rumba night where you can share with other travelers. WORST Hostel in my 35 days in Columbia

We paid for two people, two beds and when we showed up they tried to give us one bed, even after I showed the booking clearly stated we paid for two beds they moved us. They even tried to charge us more money even after seeing the picture I received from them for the booking for less. Then when we got to the room you cannot turn on the AC, turns out you have to pay an extra 20 mil (Columbian money) to receive air conditioning. I showed them booking.com states “each air conditioned room” and that it said no where it would cost more and they refused to give us air conditioning without paying. Everything you read online is untrue. Check-out times are different, the pictures look nothing like it does in person, nothing is maintained. The view at the top is very nice however the pool up there has 5 inches of green water with trash in it and is out of order. There is trash/building materials laying around everywhere that is broken and not even picked up. This hostel has great potential if it was kept up and if what it says when you book for Prices and AC is true in person. Only the glass entrance photo is true. No one even stayed here besides us and now I know why. It is in a good location. Take care of your guests better, don’t try to upcharge prices in person and if it says air conditioned room but you have to pay more it must stay that when you book. We didn’t have time to switch hostels at that point. Other hostels in the same town are very similarly priced so do not waste your money here
