I visit the place since the mid '90s, but the food was always very fine. A few years ago they shortened the menu a little bit, but it's long enough to choose from. You can find mainly typical hungarian food. Try the " Harcsa halaszle" (catfish soup). In the summertime they have an open terasse, just beside the nice little Körös river.

Regimodi Etterem is one of the top two restaurants in Szarvas and has been a long-standing favorites of the locals and visitors alike. Tastefully decorated using regional folk objects, colors and art, it is a cozy, warm dining place. The menu reflects Eastern Hungary's classical dishes, based on local farm to table principles. The food is very well prepared, always fresh and the portions are generous. Hungarian wines and beers are available, as are fruit brandies (palinka)

The location is perfect for a summer lunch/dinner with friends.
Right on the riverside, very nice panoramic view.
The food selection is not overcomplicated, but still a good choice of starters, soups, salads, meat and fish dishes and combos. Service was quick.
I can just praise the food quality.
Recommended, if you have an excursion nearby.

I have passed by this restaurant many times but we finally went in for some pizza. Service was friendly and efficient, all our pizza was excellent, up to Italian standards. Great find,recommended!

Családdal làtogattuk meg a helyet, tortillát fogyasztottunk. A kiszolgálást egy valószínüleg nyári munkát végző diáklàny intézte, kissé túl lazànak tünt, de mit várjon az ember egy kamasztól. Érkezéskor jeleztük, hogy van kedvezmény-kártyánk, persze ez a számlán valahogy mègsem szerepelt. A rendelt limonádé szinte biztosan nem bodza volt. A tortillàk finomak, nem nagyok, de sültkrumplival elfogadható mennyiséget jelentenek. A gyerekmenüben lévő sajtburger húsa valószínüleg bolti, mirelit. Nem volt nagy a nyüzsgés, mègis a pultnàl fizettünk. Nem tudtuk megvàrni egy 1,5 évessel mire a kis pincérlàny előkerül.
Ettől eltekintve visszamennénk, csak a részletekre érdemes lenne figyelniük.

Vadaszkurt has been in existence for over 100 years, although it has changed owners a few times. Located a few blocks off the main road (route 44), it is located in a quiet residential area. It occupies almost an entire city block, because it is a restaurant and also an inn, with 7 or 8 rooms. The entrance is on Tessedik S. u. You step into the bar, which in turn leads you to the dining area. There is a back patio, which on nice days also serves as an outdoor dining area. The menu includes all regional Hungarian dishes, including some of the most attractive desserts. Wine and beer are available, mostly Hungarian.
