Good little restaurant on Main street. Not fancy, but the menu was actually quite varied, reasonably priced and with big portions. The big Terrace is nice, even on grey days. Great for lunch or dinner and thrre are always yummy offerings on the blackboard menu.

I have eaten at Tartin'Izza many times even so I was really happy to find that it was as good as ever when i recently went there for supper. Pizzas are thin and crisp and the half pizza with salad and a cold soup to start with was a good deal. Sitting on the Terrace was delightful and we lingered over a shared strawberry chocolate tarte. The 2 microbreweries in Sutton have sucked up a lot of business but this place deserves to keep going with consistently friendly, attentive service and good food.

This review is for a catered dinner, delivered to a local inn - not in a restaurant. A group of us were in the Sutton area and stayed for several days at a very nice Inn. We asked if we might be able to arrange for a catered dinner. Matis was suggested. With a substantial menu to select from, we decided on a simple salad, confit de canard (with vegetables and potatoes) and chocolate mousse. The Inn arranged the service, table setting, coffee and tea. Only once have I had confit de canard that matched this - in Paris at a special restaurant. The duck was simply superb, cooked to perfection, with various goodies cooked along with it and side vegetables. The salad was indeed simple, as requested, but fresh and pleasant. The mousse was remarkably good. All in all, a superb food experience, and better by far than several restaurants in the area that we also tried. Matis has indeed many selections on his menu and if our experience is any indication, it would be a genuine pleasure to sample more of them. His kitchen occupies the back section of a store that deals with kitchen gadgets, dishes and the like. When we visited, he and an assistant were at work in a sparkling clean environment. A visit to the site is a double treat. We are not aware of a sit-down restaurant associated with Matis. We also don't know what the policy might be with regard to any limit (large or small) of the size of the group he will cater to. But, we do know that the dinner he prepared for us was one superb treat.

Breakfast and brunch, inspired by Quebec local products. All day, micro-roaster coffees, fine teas, pies, cakes and other "mignardises", to enjoy at the café or to go. Apero with local wines, private import wines and antipasti. In the cafe or on the Terrace, you will experience a warm and trendy ambiance, result of the combination of modern design and the architectural elements of an old victorian residence. At Le Pleasant, we include an attentive, courteous and friendly service. You will certainly be pleased.
This cafe has just the most amazing brunch choices. And espresso drinks for the connoisseur of such things, as I am, having owned one for 30 years.
Or a French pastry to go along with it in the afternoon.
Or a martini!
Oh my. Whether staying at their chic boutique auberge or not!

Good coffee, however it did not stay warm long. The food was average, especially the eggs with cheese. I couldn't taste the cheese. No bacon !! Space is small and noisy enough, that it may be unpleasant when talking to each other. A bit pricey. Beside that, it is a popular place for the locals and would recommend to someone who is not difficult with breakfast.

They recommended Reservations and I laughed a bit because the restaurant was completely empty. We were there early since we had a long day, we made a reservation as they recommended and glad we did because no less than 30 minutes later the restaurant was packed. The food was fantastic, make sure to order what is on for that day and what is seasonal, they won't steer you wrong.

I loved this place the moment I walked in. Quaint and impressive at the same time. Wonderful cheese selection- great sandwiches made fresh and the Turkey and Brie is just perfect. Great selection of baked goods- I tried to resist but watched others order what clearly were staples for them. Wish I lived closer... But probably better that I don't! We travel here at least twice a summer for horse shows- so we'll be back!

What can I say, everything is always delicious at this family-run gem of a tasty bistro. I make a detour for the scones (exceptionally yummy; I've never liked scones before as they were always very dry, floury disappointments, until I had these!). Service is friendly, engaging and polite. I highly recommend to all my friends, family and clients. Very cute little Terrace with shade in the summer. THE place to drop by for tasty, very reasonably priced fare. You'll see!

Went with great expectations that fizzeled fast. Friendly but really unexperimented staff. Maitre d'hôtel did not remember a thing when telling us about la table d'hôte, then brought wrong oysters.
My girlfriend ordered "sous vide" salmon, waiter said the chef made a mistake cooking it so would take way longer, offered us a lobster bisque on the chef while we waited wich is nice, brought it cold.....
3 people attended our table really nicely, only thing is they seemed to not communicate with each other and really enexperienced but nice.
Will not go again and wish this was only a bad night for them.
