Came to this restaurant by accident. It was Easter time and most of the restaurants in the area were closed, but this one was open. We were surprised by the quality of food as well as by the size of the portions :) Kitchen is Austrian but not greasy. You can share main courses and deserts - both are huge!

We`ve been in the Kogel3 for a quick lunch and the place wasn`t busy at all. The service staff was very welcoming and quick, the menu quite small (which is a good thing) and the local wines are excellent. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and the prices moderate. So far, the best restaurant in the area.

Das Ambiente ist einladend und das Serviceepersonal war bei unserem Besuch überaus freundlich.Als Vorspeise gabs einmal Beef Tartar, das laut Begleitung zwar sehr gut, aber vielleicht etwas zu reichlich "dekoriert" war. Die Pizza war sehr fein, knusprig und fluffig zugleich, und auch sehr gut belegt. Die Frotto misto waren geschmacklich ebenso einwandfrei, frisch & knusprig - und auch hier war die Portion wirklich ausreichend.Toll ist auch die Auswahl an Bevog-Bieren!

Thaller (zur traube) is one of the nicest restaurants you will find in the south of Styria (Südsteiermark). The dishes are made with regional products and all prepared fresh. Professional service and an excellent wine list make this place a must go in the region. High class food with an excellent price/quality range. Be sure to book a table in advance, especially over the weekend since they are often fully booked.
