This is a newly opened (June 28 2019) small restaurant on Rindö, close to Vaxholm in the Stockholm archipelago. The restaurant is easily reachable by a frequent car ferry (takes <10 min to cross) and has plenty of parking. The premises are shared with the local brewery Waxholms Bryggeri and has a very nice old industrial feel, but fully restored with clean and stylish colors and furniture. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available and there are really no bad tables.The selection is a mix of typical Swedish archipelago tastes (such as herring and whitefish roe), mediterranean and healthy vegetable choices. The core of the menu are salads, hamburgers and cheese platters. Many of the ingredients are produced locally and overall the quality is very high. The presentation is modern and beautiful without being overly flashy. Best of all, it tastes just as good as it sounds and looks! :-) The menu choices work both for lunch and dinner and the prices are quite affordable (everything costs below 200SEK/20â¬). There are plans to offer brunch later. There is also a small menu for kids with very reasonable prices.Service is very welcoming, friend and personal which contributes to a great restaurant experience. Perfect for an excursion for a day, especially since there is also a small cheese factory next door (the cheeses of which are represented on the menu). Good news : The location is great with good parking if you travel with car or boat ! Good selection of beerBad News : Very mediocre food . Was excited when i ordered the "råraka with löjrom" But so dissappointed about the taste . Probably made a day earlier and just heated ....eish !

The location of Winberg is right at the sea port of vaxholm. There was an erected tent that I had my food in it. I am not sure if this structure is permanent or just temporary for the summer time. The place and most of tables were dirty. The burger I ordered and fries were greasy.

On a Sunday brunch with my family: all you can eat selection of salmon, herrings, turkey, vegetables, and finally ice creams, chocolates, and small cakes. Good quality price ratio. Not everything matched my preferences but all was good. Amazing view to the sea and nice staff. There are also mini golf and volleyball nearby (17 June 2018).

Grand Hotel in Saltsjöbaden was designed in the spirit of Hotel-des-Bains on Lido outside Venice. It is the hallmark building of this old-fashioned residential area, a 25 min. train ride from The Old Town in Stockholm. Italians love it. It has a quiet restaurant called Sea Front, with seats outside on the deck, overlooking the old bath houses. This is where the first Black/White tv was installed in 1957!
