This place was a great find in Lake Tekapo with surprisingly decent food at reasonable prices. It was a bit troublesome to get in as they wouldn't take a reservation for 6pm (the scheduled opening time) and insisted that we line up outside. Fortunately we were able to get a table, and the restaurant only seemed about half full or even less, so I'm not too sure why they made it so difficult to get in. Anyway the food was good and the service friendly and efficient. They even had well priced sake on the menu.Dear valued customer,Thank you for your positive feedback.Your support and feedback will keep us striving for excellence in the delivery of services and quality food to the customers.Regarding to the reservation on 6pm, we were sorry to hear about this. We were not able to accept any reservation on 6pm once it is full (normally booking would be full one day before the date), however, it is the best and earlier way to get in to our restaurant by waiting in line, so whenever the customer has finished, we shall allocate the line-up customers in accordance. Other options are available like takeways or come back at the later time normally after 8pm, if you have no reservation.Hope you enjoy your days in Lake Tekapo.

2019 New Open Japanese homemade Ramen noodle restaurant. we have fried chicken,dumpling,salmon sashimi,and Thai asian food such as pad thai,green curry tom yum.

We had a quick meal here yesterday. The service is quick and friendly, the food is just fine and priced reasonably. Great value!

Drove around the shopping center a few times before stopping to ask where it was located since it is slightly hidden. It was near the shop that you can buy stamps from tucked back in an alleyway slightly about midway in shopping complex.We got some take-away. They were one of the only open restaurants. Pad Thai was decent and the green curry was yummy and the better of the two.

This would be the worst of the worst so don't waist your time. They cater for the tourist buses and couldn't give a toss about the local visitors. Never again. You think the food is bad wait till you experience the service, non existent we'd say.
