We wanted to eat at Itoshii Hoofddorp but since they were fully booked we tried the Itoshii in Lisse and that was a very good decision they also use the tablets to order and the sushi, sashimi etc was just as good and freshly made as they do in Hoofddorp. And on top off that this place is cozier and a little smaller, but you also need to make reservations since it was allmost full when we arrived (but we had made reservations)We enjoyed a great meal, good and fast service so we will keep this in mind the next time we like to eat sushi. We will definatly visit them again.

It presents a typical All-You-Can-Eat for Euro 25 'Japanese' restaurant. A big improvement on previous years is that the premises have been moved from the first floor of the building, which could only be reached by a steep staircase, to more spacious accommodation on the ground floor. A big negative for me is that they charge Euro1 for a glass of tap water - the argument being that 'if everyone had tap water we couldn't make a profit'. This was despite the fact that during the course of the meal our table of four had already had 6 glasses of wine and one bottle of mineral water.

I've visited you hachi about ten times now and the sushi is always delicious. There are many different variations of sushi to choose from but I like the maki's best. They also have salads, grilled meat, fish and vegetables and starters to choose from so there is something for everybody. The restaurant has recently changed owners and before and after the change the restaurant has been great. The new owner is very friendly and interested in her guests.
