This pub has gained great popularity by their prices and quality of food and beer - available for students living near the pub, but also a popular palce with a lot of guests who come to have lunch at midday. In the evenings it is always crowded, as they have live music, good music sets for dancing, sport translations, etc.The space is decorated like a cellar, although due to the general atmosphere and good company I've always felt very comfortable.The tables are rather large for big companies that would like to spend time or celebrate there, and quite clean.Cooking and drinks deserve a special comment - I have some favourites that are not found in the same quality anywhere. Lard with home made mustard are the best in town! Also pickles, and salads. They have a lot of beer snacks that are also very popular. The choice of beer is not bad - always fresh, and good taste :-)Bartenders working there are teh winners of bartenders' competitions, so if you manage to come when they have a Barman Show - it's well worth seeing and trying!

The most authentic place for lovers of Guinness and other popular beer brands with nice company and music! Considering there are not really many pubs with interior, atmosphere and beers in the city that could compete for being really Irish :-)The beer is quite good, food is ok, the place is popular, so might be no vacant place at times. Located in a broad street, with lively traffic most of the day, it gives a chance to forget about a hard work day and relax in a nice place.

A new branch of the Hagen Beer Restaurant and Entertainment complex opened on Jul14th 2015 in the heart of Smolensk. Great place was chosen for this restaurant, a very picturesque small street in the historic centre, facing the corner of the city gardens, Blonye.Many visitors came in right after the opening (mostly due to curiosity and the good location), so the place was crowded.At the entrance I was met by kitchen smell.The staff was trying to be polite, but the place was so full and crowded that they seemed to be unable to serve every visitor. As for the food, when going to this place, my friend and me were hoping for a fresher menu, because the food choice that is traditionally offered by this restaurant feels somewhat boring already. However, the menu was traditional, not bad, but not excellent either. Price and quality ratio is higher than average - for which this complex is famous.

Great ambience, with a summer terrace, set in woodland 3km outside Smolensk. Food was very good and prices reasonable for the quality. The decoration was contemporary and tasteful. I would definitely go back.
