Reviewed By Bojana JVery friendly host, friendly price and great location. The location in the center of Piran is really great. Piran is wonderful and the host was available and helpful. I recommend. The parking lot is also well arranged, making the city car-free.

Reviewed By srfyogiOther then courteous and apologetic Thomas who is the guy managing the property....I am sorry but this is not a habitable place for humans...an attic is a room? a broken fan, busted nightstand..no place for storage, no sink, no water access int he room, stairs that could collapse at anytime, rinky dink wood planks not even nailed together right...stairs and steps that are not even navigable...I could go on and on... a hostel from hell...not even a 1 star in our opinion... felt like I was released from my cage when we bolted out of there... please dont go there..not worth it one bit..I have NO idea how and why I ended up booking a room in this place... my wife almost divorced me !

Reviewed By gasper_krajncIt wasn't that bad. They told us we can check in at 10am but than we had to wait till 2pm. Also the bar tender was very mean and acting arrogant. Food was okay and the room was pleasent. We had our own bathroom and bedroom looked semi fancy. The owner was extremly nice. Overall I would come back if the prices would fall

Great location, great staff, good vibes and perfect starting point for a trip with "Piran Divers"
Reviewed By Lydia LWe stayed at Hostel Pirano as we were also diving with Piran Divers. So it was very handy for us in order to organize the dives with Kristjan, the Dive Instructor. However, we can also very recommend it if you're not into diving (but maybe want to try it?! ;-) but want to stay at a clean and well located place with simple comfort and definitely great service and the most charming host in town. :-) We very much enjoyed our time in Pirano and at the hostel; we stayed there for a week. Rooms have air con, shelves, a hanging rack for clothes, two small sideboards, a TV and a window, of course. We had a shared bathroom (we shared it with approx. 3 other guests, so there was never any hassle to wait. Besides, the bathrooms were very clean.) There's no breakfast offered, however, you get always invited to a fresh cup of coffee in the morning and bars/cafés/supermarket are just a few steps away. Also, it's like a three minute walk to Tartini Sq. and in about sixty seconds you are at the seaside.

Hostel Alieti is a quiet, cozy property in the heart of historic town center of Izola. We are situated near Izola’s main square Trg Manzioli, only 100 meters from the sea, 500 meters from Izola’s town beach at Svetilnik and only 300 meters from the bus station. Hostel Alieti has 5 mixed (4 / 5 / 6 beds) dormitories, 2 bathrooms and a common room with a fully equipped kitchen.

Reviewed By EuropeforeverFirst time ever I stayed in a hostel as I needed only one night stay in lovely little town Izola. Opted for hostel Alieti as read great reviews all over the Internet and now can confirm, this place is really nice. Super friendly staff, close to the beach and bus stop, supermarket, right in old part of town. Slept so well in the attic room and enjoyed the breakfast and coffee made by the hostel staff. After a whole day of touring around, this place was a pure sanctuary for me. Thank you Uros for the experience and all kindness given. Will be back!

Hostel Histria Koper just move to a bigger place, 50m away from the old location, on Repičeva street n.6. We can offer to you double and twin rooms, beds in 4,6 and 8 bedded dorms. A commom room and a kitchen are on use fot the guests plus you can rent a bike. Wifi is free to use in all building.

Reviewed By Isi HI can only recommend this hostel! It is pretty much in the city center, got a really nice kitchen and common room. The staff is super friendly and helpful! I came there middle of the night, in desperate need of a bed and eventhough reception was closed I could stay. They really saved me, because it is almost impossible to get checked in anywhere that time in Koper, since it is a small city! Even after we checked out, we could hang in the common room. The dorms are clean and they have lockers big enough for a backpack. I had a lovely stay. So, big recommendation and thank you so much again! Isabel

Bad experience to stay in Bella Vista
Reviewed By A7771JDmariobFirst of all I wanted to stay in ‘Center hostel’ in Kopar but then I’ve been told that there is no free beds except one in this hostel and owner both of hostels Mohamad took me to his another hostel ‘Bellavista’. I had unpleasant experience stay in this place. It was a cold in a room and the owner Mohamad enter my room and switched off air condition. It was very rude and disrespectful! I mean, come on, you can’t behave like this to your guests, I’ve payed for it, the room was super cold, was wind and rain outside. The other thing, the water heater in bathroom was small than 50 liters for a hostel where can stay 15 men, it’s ridiculous. The hostel has no heating in a bathroom or in the kitchen. I didn’t book on booking but arrived personally and he gave me the same price as booking price. And the last thing, I didn’t get any bill. I didn't see a hair dryer, a towel aswell. It was dirty under the bed. In low season time, the place serves as a lodging for physical workers. I’m not recommending this hostel. Not everyone can be a good host..

We are a new hostel just opened and renovated in july 2016. We have total 20 beds (4 rooms) 2x shared kitchen and 2x shared bathroom. We offer free wifi and towels.
Terrible attitude and fraud attempt
Reviewed By SfrancomMy experience here with the people from the hostel was pretty bad. They don't help you at all with anything. First day I arrived before the check in just to leave my bags there and the guy from the reception said "I guess you want to leave yours things here so you can put them there" pointing the wall next to the door where everyone goes in and out, also the door is open time to time directly to the street. So NO luggage room. I asked for any recommendation of what to do before check in time.. No answer. I asked for a map and asked for places to visit and other towns, he just pointed the beach and that was it. When he finally check me in he tried to make me pay twice (I paid before via booking) and he said that was only a "reservation" and that money would be back in my account in 14 days! Of course I didn't pay anything and he took this "reservation" as payment. PEOPLE DON'T PAY DOUBLE. Last day before check out a couple from another room got into mine and started to put their stuff in the lockers. I knew what was going on so I asked them. There were leaving their stuff there and had to take the train that evening. When I asked for the locker the answer was no and he tried to play the fool with me when I mentioned about the other couple. This is just my experience to let nexts customers know what kind of service people can get here. The place is ok, comfortable beds and clean. Only 2 bathrooms for the whole place.

Clean, quiet and good location
Reviewed By gord hWe parked in the public parking and walked into this hostel. It was clean, had wifi and were able to secure a private bath. It was clean and quiet. The only downside was the manager did smoke at her desk when it was advertised as non smoking. All in all a good spot for a night.
