Hotel Svea , dating from 1840 , is a charming and personal hotel right on the harbor with views of the National Park Stenshuvud . Amidst picturesque Simrishamn with its vibrant cultural life , their food experiences and their exciting shopping . We are Österlens largest hotel with 61 rooms , a large part of them with views to the sea and the rest to the lush garden. All rooms have shower, telephone , cable TV and wifi. For conference and meeting guests, we offer a seven options for up to 100 people. Restaurant with 130 seats , bar and summer we serve in our lush garden. Sauna and massages are available for use. The train station and the beach is 5 minutes walk from the hotel and Gösta Werner museum is located in the neighboring house . Conveniently located close to restaurants and city center in Simrishamn, this offers a good spot for a get-away or short vacation - beach and restaurants within 200 m. Rooms are quiet, and the family room had a proper bunk bed for the kids. Hotel has a lot of art. Breakfast is plentiful. There is also a beautiful garden restaurant in the backyard that offers dinner and drinks in the evening.

Hotel Turistgarden is a family hotel and has a unique location in an old merchant house from the 1700s, Aspelinska Garden. Centrally located in Simrishamn close to the harbor, cozy restaurants and attractions. Staying with us means personal service. Here you can find peace and tranquility of our rose garden, and our blackbirds singing happy. We have a Rosarium with more than 300 different roses for our guests' comfort. We offer a secure car park which is free for our guests.

Reviewed By RobinB196The breakfast is excellent, the location quiet and central. Spotlessly clean. The rooms however are hit and miss. We did not like the first room we were given (dark, no view, in the middle of a parking lot). We asked to change and the non-English speaking staff was not helpful. Several phone calls to the owner and some confusion ensued, and finally we got an upstairs room - tiny, no view, but better. It was off-season, mid-week, and hotel did not appear busy. For the price, we did not feel it was a great value.

Reviewed By Michaelvmx1The location is promising, but for me didn't deliver on it's promise. It all felt a bit like a school trip instead of holiday. Especially that you have to clean after a one night stay is too much for me. With this in mind the price was also way too steep for what you get. Plumbing is also pretty bad, if someone showers it can be heard in the whole building.

Nice but to pricey for the experience
Reviewed By Sigge LVery friendly and quite skilled serving staff. The starters kept top quality, but main courses and deserts were average. With prices like this I expected more creative, dynamic and precise cooking. On top of that, the dining hall is as hot as you would expect a restaurant kitchen. To put this on 4/5 they should either drop prices 30% or get bolder and better in the kitchen. They need to decide who they want to be.

I had the “salsiccia”: despite the name, it’s a German-style sausage and not an Italian-style one. Anyway, it was definitely good. The staff was a bit stressed when we ordered, but anyway we enjoyed what we got.

Tremendous view and carying hosts
Reviewed By swenezzCozy bed & breakfast with and tremendous view over the Baltic Sea! Nice, careful, and helpful owners. We rented one of the flats (the one with the lake view) a bit chilly (now in the springtime) and frugally furnished with kitchen appliances and crockery. Bikes exists at the property but they are a bit old and quite worn down so not suitable for a long trip.

Nice and clean, good service and we had a relaxing evening in the jacuzzi were you see the stars in the evening. Utöver detta ett mycket personligt och trevligt värdpar samt en fantastik trädgård att njuta av. Vi kommer garanterat tillbaka, Stort Tack J-Å o Halta Lotta!!!

Quaint and functional
Reviewed By Sigge LDecent place. Clever setup with sms, port code, key management and all that. Lovely breakfast with a bread that's even got the recipe on the wall. Friendly and supportive staff. Small rooms, shared bathrooms, small beds, very warm in the summer. But comfortable walking distance to the harbor and the beach.
