Recommended by a local - well worth it , had spicy fish soup & chicken with holy basil & chilli - steamed rice , flavor was intense , spotlessly clean cafe, would recommend this cafe over the others at pakmeng beach! All up the cost was 400 baht . Pretty damn good

Among the endless rows of restaurants on the same street, which one is the best pick? I don't know either, but I would say this is one of the best places.
The food is great. The seafood is fresh, and you must try the Southern Thai dishes, but be warned that they are super spicy. You might need to ask for them to adjust the taste to be a bit milder.
The price is standard. The place is pretty clean. You can see the beach from the restaurant, and you have the choice of sitting on the beach, or indoors on the opposite side of the road.
The owner is super friendly and staffs are very efficient. The owner will also give you rides to and from your hotel if you need. :)

Dined here twice. One as part of the package deal purchased for the hotel, the other a romantic dinner for two in an alcove which was beautifully decorated with strewn flowers and lit candles, tablecloths and special treats. Food delicious but rush with courses arriving too quickly after each other. Drinks menu good too with nice selection. The alcove overlooked the inner courtyard of the main restaurant. Not a great view when over my shoulder was the best view overlooking the water. Perhaps a rethink of placement?

Smart restaurant with lots of outdoor Seating and Seating over the road on the edge of the beach if you prefer. The menu is traditional Thai and ranges from cheaper rice and noodle dishes through Thai standards to more expensive seafood specialities. Food is tasty and service good.
