Reviewed By salschmidtWhat a breath of fresh air. The most refreshing accommodation located in the heart of Sığacık, Seferihisar, an idyllic seaside neighbourhood on the west coast of Turkey. You will be blown away by the quality of these apartments. They are luxurious! The complex is new, the quality of furnishings was exceptional; no IKEA in sight! When searching for the perfect place to stay during our visit to Sığacık, I was looking for something modern, spacious, comfortable, but still cozy enough to feel homey. This was just that and so much more! Upon booking via Airbnb, you are warmly welcomed by the lovely hosts, and on arrival, Mr Hamdi, the most delightful and kind man, along with his wife, is onsite to greet you and present the apartment. The team are always floating around in the background but never intrusive of your privacy. Cigdem & Ozgur are divine hosts, full of local sightseeing tips, their favourite restaurants and available to help make your stay as seamless as possible. We were also delightfully surprised and overwhelmed by a surprise gift of beautiful fresh flowers on our last night, which genuinely melted our hearts. A special thank you to the Çiğdem'inn team for their generosity and kindness. Each morning you are greeted by the sun shining through the whole apartment. It was decked out in welcoming pastel tones, with a touch of modern art throughout. This awesome nook in the lounge was also like a bay window set up to enjoy your morning coffee and bask in the sunlight. We couldn't get enough of this area. It truly felt like home. You were also very spoilt with space. Each evening, you sleep soundly and warmly in the large double-bed, excellent firm mattress with an abundance of pillows and blankets. You will love the peacefulness of the quiet village too. The bathroom featured a large shower, ample storage, and excellent water pressure and temperature. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, fully equipped and of the highest quality equipment. We took advantage and made sure we cooked a few meals at home during the week. In terms of location, we couldn't have been more fortunate. Everything you needed, from everyday essentials to restaurants and bars, was on your doorstep, along with the beautiful port and harbour. You also have a 16th-century Sığacık Castle full of fantastic dining establishments nestled inside the castle walls, all within a few minutes' walk. We left a piece of us in Sığacık. The people are beautiful, genuine, kind, and full of a unique and lovable energy. We cannot recommend this destination and accommodation highly enough.

A peaceful stay for all beings
Reviewed By ZepYapThis is truly a peaceful white house surrounded by olive trees, jasmine and bougainvilleas that you will want to return to. The fact that the elegantly decorated rooms are large, confortable and the pension is away from the noise of Kaleiçi, which you can reach within minutes, were our reasons for choosing Beyaz Ev at the beginning. However, we saw that there was more during our stay. Özgul, the owner of Beyaz Ev, is a gracious host with all her helpfulness and guidance on places to go and see in the surrounding area. We were particularly impressed by the delicacy and sensitivity she showed to cats and dogs live by the neighborhood, which makes Beyaz Ev an amicable place for all beings.

Amazing hidden gem
Reviewed By leandrod601We found this beautiful boutique hotel by chance and I am so glad we did it Located in the hills just a short walk from the village marina and town square it is a stunning place. Rooms are huge, beautifully decorated, spotless, and with modern bathroom. All rooms have air conditioning which is a necessity in the summer. Out host was amazing she prepared a beautiful traditional Turkish breakfast every morning for us with a variety of home made gems. It was so good that I managed to gain weight during our 5 nights there. I highly recommend stay there if you want a true authentic Turkish experience

Not a Pleasant Experience
Reviewed By martinj770The hotel is located at the side of the old castle walls. Access is either via the narrow streets of the old town or over some steps from the perimeter road. Were we told the cost would be 300 YTL for our room and this included breakfast. We ordered tea on arrival and were told there’d be a charge for this. Are we in Turkey, I thought. The room was fine apart from the dodgy shower fitting (though there was plenty of hot water) and exposed electrical wiring (though everything seemed to work). We had a great night's sleep ... but “breakfast” was a total disaster. We hadn't been told what time to come down and hadn't seen any signs but we thought 8:15 was reasonable on a Sunday morning. We waited in the hotel reception but there was no one around. At 8:30 I sent a message to the number on the wall ... no reply. At 8:45 I rang him. No reply ... but I could hear a phone ringing from a guest's room where loud snoring was emanating from. We called through the open window and eventually received a grunted reply. A disheveled looking man appeared (who we assume was the owner or manger), took one look at us but never spoke a word. He went to another room and soon the young receptionist appeared looking in a similar disheveled state. By this time though we'd made a brief look through the open kitchen door and decided that the hygiene standards were too poor for us to be able to stomach what ever they were going to present. When we came to pay, the rate had us suddenly gone up to 350 YTL and we were offered 300 YLT without breakfast. We wouldn’t accept this and eventually settled for 250 YTL. The condition and appearance of the hotel is fine but the management is very lacking. Whilst waiting for breakfast there was the detritus of the previous evening littered around on the tables. Used coffee cups, a half-eaten mandarin and used tissues. The tables in the yard were filthy and hadn’t been wiped down in ages. Not a welcoming site for guests. The appearance if the “manager” and his attitude was very unprofessional. Ok, we may have woken him up but why weren’t we told of the breakfast timings? We’d walked past him as we’d arrived the previous evening and he’d not even spoken to us then either. Also, he was talking loudly beneath our window with his friends late into the evening. In my opinion, there’s only one thing wrong with this hotel and that’s the management. It needs changing. If I was the owner I’d get a new manger. If I was the owner/manager I’d find something else to do.

What a Cittaslow village and room
Reviewed By travtkAle Pansiyon was so beautiful in Sigacik as we arrived at twilight. It was like a fairy tale village. Appeared so laid back. Given our fast lifestyle, it takes a lot to consciously slow down. The people and the village help with this, definitely. The host was amazing and very hospitable. The room was very spacious (King plus two twin) overlooking the street through large windows. The bathroom, really could have been bigger - really small allowing no elbow room literally. Opposite cafe and nearby cafes, bakery and grocery stores just outside the walled village are very good.

Very clean hotel and Cheap
Reviewed By SofiyachtWe were biased when we saw the hotel from outside.The hotel seems small from outside. But it has many rooms. We were 2 people and paid Euro 60 per night. The sheets were smelling really nice and the rooms very extra clean. The view of the sea front rooms are excellent. In the breakfast they serve fresh tomatoes, pepper, parsley from their own garden. Enjoy!

We as OZCELIK family run this facility which has 5 rooms all decorated to serve our guests in a most comfortable manner. Our room prices include bed & breakfast.
