Wonderful winter getaway
Reviewed By P7515GEmeganrMy husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of January and we cannot wait to come again! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and so cozy. Our room was great, big enough for our needs and we loved the floor heating. Breakfast was ample and served in a beautiful room overlooking the lake. The comfortable lounge was inviting for afternoon coffee by the fireplace and I just regret not booking afternoon tea. We both got massages by Thomas - absolutely excellent and professional I also got a facial from Martina which was superb I’d love to come back in the summer when the beer garden is open and sit by the lake but the snowy days we had were a delight

Reviewed By philipta2017A hidden gem in Munich Area. I stayed at this hotel on a business trip in nearby Penzberg and it was an outstanding. Being a busy traveler the initial impatience of late evening check in being slow due to lack of staff soon went away. This is a place that should be ranked high in destinations as part of The Slow Revolution - find places which will encourage you to slow down, take in your nature surroundings and re-charge. I will defn come back !!

Bike tour
Reviewed By iWalkthedogGreat place, arrived in the rain having ridden motorbikes for several hours - we were very wet. Checked in and told we could put the bikes in the large garage behind the hotel - this was most welcome. The room had a balcony which would have been great in better weather, lots of storage space and a good bathroom. Breakfast was very good, staff very friendly and helpful. The bar next door was very handy, we ate dinner there. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Käsespatzen nicht zu empfehlen
Reviewed By Klaus ODie Käsespatzen wurden ihrem Namen nicht gerecht. Bei dem vermeintlichen Käse darin handelte es sich um eine nicht zu definierende eher flüssige Masse. Insgesamt weniger schmackhaft und nicht appetitlich. Für die Selbstbedienung im netten Biergarten sind die 13 € meiner Meinung deutlich überhöht auch wenn ein Salat dabei war. Getränke gab's aus einem Standkühlschrank in Selbstbedienung, was OK war.
