If willing to taste nice food accompanied by a wide selection of wine, call at Lutter & Wegner. The shrimp salad I had was absolutely delicious: prepared with a fresh mix of lettuce and tomatoes, with a dash of fantastic balsamico, oil and orange juice dressing, with nicely fried tiger shrimps and altogether generously sprinkled with grilled pine nuts. However, looking at the wide list of wine in stock, ask for your favourites in order to avoid disappointment!

The food was creative and elegant. The fish was dry and too many marshmallows in several causes.
For a Michelin recommended restaurant I was surprised over the level of service. Wine was not served equally to the table, some only having a taste others more than a full glass. Difficult to get eye contact with a waiter.

Great restaurant: best italian food cooked with high quality products. Pasta is the specialty of this small restaurant. We shrared first a cheese and har with rucula and pinenuts plate, then had ricotta ravioli and black pasta with shrimps and shared a creme brule with banana icecream and an espresso; we only drank mineral water. Everything was very delicious and we spent 60 € for 2 persons. Service is very good too. You need to make a reservation at least 2 days before during summer, because theu only have 14 places inside and maximum 8 outside. Not to be missed!

Die Karte ist übersichtlich, aber was angeboten wird ist dann sehr ordentlich zubereitet. Die Preise hier sind moderat und in die Wartezeit auf das Essen ist normal. Hier bezahlt man nicht für eine stylische Einrichtung oder anderen Schnickschnack.

Best food we had in Ahlbeck, fresh cod with parmiggiano crust and pesto was outstanding, and so was the fried eel with salt potatoes, reasonably priced. not to forget the service which was extremaly friendly and helpful. Location not easy to find, but definitely worth seeking...

The Location is Fantastic. The sun sets over the lake and there is a garden from the Terrace down to it. Many of the sea side hotels and restaurant face north east into the Baltic and do not catch the sunset as well as here. Good, large portions of local cuisine. Fish of course and salads. Good bier vom fass! A main course is sufficient. We turned up without a reservation on Saturday night and were lucky to be given a table reserved for a no-show.

Good looking exterior and interior. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff, food was of good quality and what you would expect of a seaside brewpub. Great beer selection, their own are of very good quality and definitely worth the visit.

Welcome to the hermitage in Heringsdorf. In our restaurant we serve mainly seafood, but also meat dishes and other regional specialties. In our house we have comfortable double rooms. The restaurant is traditionally furnished and has a special charm Baltic Sea. As service-oriented hosts friendliness, attention and cleanliness are very important. Our house is only about 80m away from the beach Promenade. Many guests appreciate it, to walk after a delicious meal on the beach. In summer, the sunny beer garden on the Terrace to relax. We are looking forward to your visit.

Am Montagabend hielt sich der Besucherandrang in Grenzen. Tisch im Wintergarten mit dem Rücken zur Außenwand war etwas zugig, aber die Witterung war auch nicht gerade sommerlich. Getränke wurden in 5 Minuten serviert, die freundliche Bedienung erklärt auf Nachfrage und akzeptiert Änderungen der Beilage. Nach nur 10 Minuten wurde der Butterfisch serviert. 4 mittelgroße Filetstücke, Bratkartoffeln hätten etwas krosser sein können. Das Rahmgemüse war recht fettlastig. Insgesamt eine recht große Portion. Der Fisch war ausgesprochen schmackhaft und gut gegart. Zum Preis von 16 € empfand ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.
Etwas Wehmut mischte sich nach einiger Zeit in das positive Erlebnis, weil der Fettgehalt (Butterfisch eben!) sich als doch etwas belastend für die Verdauung erwies. Fazit: Die Klause ist als preiswertes Restaurant eine Empfehlung innerhalb der sonst eher mäßigen Gastronomieleistungen Usedoms.

Its fish and the Zander was excellent. Fresh. And Uwe's kitchen does know the preparation. Great skin.
Everything else is deco, the beer, the potatoes, the sauces (be warned of Pommersche Sauce). Not important, as you want fish, come for fish, eat fish and remember it for fish.
So go. Truely traditional fish place.
