This restaurant is next to the schlep bridge. The menu seems to be by far too big (meat, fish, pizza, daily choices). We were very positively surprised by the quality of our dishes and the size of the portions. Especially because the restaurant is not expensive. The service is very efficient, but not at all polite.

We were recommended to try here by the owner of Speicher No 5 as she was fully booked the evening we arrived in Kappeln, and I am very glad we followed her recommendation. The food was excellent and in typically large portions, whilst the service was good. The hotel and restaurant are right by the marina below the bridge.Recommended.

Das Restaurant liegt beim WoMo Platz und war für uns gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen Platz auf der Terasse und wurden bestens bedient. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft und ausreichend. Das ganze zu einem angemessenen Preis.

One of the waterfront restaurants on the kay in Kappeln. As such you get a very nice background (or rather - forefront) for your lunch/dinner. Obviously also quite high competition, so the price-level is very reasonable. The dishes on the menu are consequently also a bit on the simple side. You obviously do not go to a restaurant like this and expect spectacular or innovative cooking. Not that this should be taken as a criticism to what we got. From our table we ordered a pasta-dish, a filled potato and flammkuchen. All of it well-prepared and tasty. Well worth the price and served with a smile. So if you pass Kappeln and need lunch, you'll not be disappointed by visiting Port 19.
