I had the pleasure to dine in Delta's Bistro during the Internorga 2018.Small but exquisite menu selection, very attentive service and great atmosphere.Food chosen was very nice presented, tasty and of very high quality.A highlight was the entertainment, performed by a Japanese singer, good song selection, including Yodeling.

Travelling from the uk we wanted a traditional meal. Opitz ticked the box, small but quaint with friendly helpful staff. We booked in advance for Tuesday night and the restaurant was busy.Good atmosphere in an old world setting. Food was traditional Hamburg cuisine I had Goulash my friend had beef we both enjoyed our meal which was complimented with fried pots as much as you wanted. Soup starters were very good i can recomend the pea with bacon and sausage.A great night will eat here again.

Welcome to ‚Das Dorf’: Our restaurant has a decades-long tradition since it has been established in 1848. It has always been the meeting point for friends of enjoyment and entertainment. Quite a few call it to the secret canteen of crew members of Deutsch

We had a large party of 11 that wanted to dine here. We had to make 2 reservations to cover all of us but they seated us next to each other so it was fine. The service was friendly and pleasant. A few of us got the wiernershnitzel and it made everyone who didn't get it very jealous. It was tender, tasty, and filling. The portion sizes were large (the "side salad" was massive). We got to eat out doors, which was great, but I can imaging that it would be awesome to be indoors on a cold day, enjoying good food and good friends in the surroundings there. It seemed really cozy inside.Dear Guys, thank you so much for reviewing us with 5 stars. You make us proud and really very happy. We are appreciating a lot your compliments and hope to see you all again. So cheers and once again thanks,Axel Strehlitz and his entire crew.

This restaurant profits from good advertise, but its nothing special, worse - its very bellow-awerige - Brötchen arent fresh, NO vegetables in it, "Frikadele", I think, no "home made", but from ready-to-cook product.. There are many better fastfoods with this tasty food in Hamburg.(And WC for 0,70 Euro..)

Restaurant Schlumachers

Didn’t book thought it would be fine on Monday evening and it was. Plenty of space. Unassuming from the outside. We had their special aperitif with raspberries delicious. I had what was described on the English translation of the menu as plaice with potato and cucumber salad but when it came it was cod/ possibly haddock with potato purée. It was delicious. My husband had the chicken. Equally delicious and very succulent. Large portions. Friendly service. We sat outside as it was hot in a tiny little courtyard. If in Lübeck eat here!

Cafe Erdapfel

The cafe/restaurant „Erdapfel“, whose name refers to the potato, has become one of Lübeck‘s best addresses for a really decent meal - fast, really tasty, quite healthy (vegetarian with vegan options) and reasonably priced. After multiple visits, I strongly recommend this place for tourists as well as locals – only if You’re hungry, though, as for nice drinks and coziness, there are other places.

Kartoffelspeicher

Came here two days in a row because of how much I enjoyed it. Its the perfect kind of food to fuel you for a big tour around town. The food is delicious, the menu is comprehensive with lots of vegetarian options, the staff are super lovely and helpful and also its super cheap, definitely one of the best eats in town for a quick stop. Would recommend the Turkish delight or tandoori chicken, both were outstanding.

I had a really enjoyable meal at Sagners Bistro while in Hamburg visiting the Christmas markets. Pumpkin soup to start was delicious, very flavorsome and well made, served with some bread.Mains were just wonderful, pork selection was enormous, 3 kinds of pork served with chipped potatoes and salad, goose was perfectly cooked and great to have something different. Portions were a little on the large size but we did our best to finish the plates.Wine list was good or you could order wine by the jug.Service was outstanding, the lady owner was very hospitable and welcoming. Don’t let the location put you off and do come hungry as you will leave full , very full !!

Four of us dined here based upon reading the TA reviews. The menu is quite limited which is an observation, not a criticism. On a plus point, the service is excellent and cannot be faulted. The homemade breads were a nice touch. The complementary amuse bouche of serano ham and melon with a broken bread stick was a bit disappointing. My chosen meal though.... it was average at best! I selected the fish soup with the large crouton and rouille (€9.5) - it was possibly the worst fish soup I have ever eaten. Very watery, more like a broth, and literally didn’t have any chunks of fish in it. This is usually my favourite starter and one that I usually always pick at french bistros. My main course was the whole sea bream with pea risotto (€26.5). As the menu said, it was a whole unfilleted grilled bream served with a side bowl of risotto and a few dressed leaves. I naively thought it might have been fillets laid on top of a risotto bed. It was okay, nothing special though. The 3 rating is because the other guests did enjoy their meals, otherwise it would have been lower from my perspective. I just didn’t think the food was good enough so wouldn’t recommend or return here.
