The Novotel Rotterdam Schiedam is a 4 star hotel located within minutes of the port, Europoort and the centre of Rotterdam. This attractive hotel is ideal for either a business stay or a relaxing weekend away in Rotterdam. Parking is available for our guests at the hotel and our well equipped rooms feature WiFi and airconditioning. The Novotel Rotterdam Schiedam has a charming restaurant and bar, a spacious garden with outdoor pool and a terrace. The hotel is entirely " non smoking ".
Terrible serve and very noisy
Reviewed By 932MichaelSI had a "superior" room on the ground floor and never again. The hotel was inundated with children - from very small to teenagers - and they were running and shouting all day long. Nobody from the hotel bothered to ask them to quieten down. Housekeeping came into my room, without knocking - on numerous occasions, even when I was sleeping - to ask when I was checking out. I was booked in for four (4) nights. The bar closed earlier than I was advised on checking in. Getting a seat for an evening meal was almost impossible. Restaurant staff were sullen and sometimes directly insulting. Rooms were tired and a bit dirty. Many TV channels were not working as the system had not been updated. On the positive side - Reception staff were excellent.

Reviewed By 3kh6dy3cn9Excellent hotel, with nice rooms, nearby the canal, and within a 5 minute walk from the city center. The breakfast offers a large variety of good stuff. The coffee was excellent. Next time I go to Schiedam I will book again

Gezellig overnacht in Schiedam.
Reviewed By joopkipDe B&B ligt in een een winkelstraat in Schiedam. Je kunt het beste parkeren bij westvest. De ontvangst was vriendelijk en duidelijk, de kamers waren schoon. Ontbijt was top, dus zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Via een stadswandeling ook Schiedam nog beter leren kennen.

Reviewed By DieterD353Leuke B&B. Mooie kamers en handig systeem van deuren. Zo heb je geen sleutel nodig. Uitgebreid ontbijt voor ieder wat wils. Wij gingen van daar met de fiets naar Rotterdam, dus ook een goede ligging. Als het past komen we zeker terug

What a B&B should be.
Reviewed By Jim DIt's a great location and considering that it is a room on a boat on a canal, our room was surprisingly spacious. It was comfortable and well-equipped, including for self-catering, and it's within 100 metres of an Albert Heijn supermarket. It was also an easy canalside walk to some good restaurants. The owner/managers were most hospitable and welcoming, and it felt like we were being welcomed into their home which, I suppose is true. We had an excellent breakfast, and we used the B&B it as a base for visiting surrounding areas, Oudddam, Middelburg, etc. There is a little road noise if you have a garden-facing room, but nothing to worry about. We found the bed a little soft, but that's a matter of personal taste.

We are located in a residential area in a 1918 semi-detached mansion. We are at walking distance of the historical city centre of Schiedam and only 10 minutes away from Rotterdam. From the Schiedam train station there is a train to Schiphol and Amsterdam every 15 minutes. We love to show you the way! On the second floor of a characteristic mansion built in 1918 you will find the spacious Schiedam Suite short stay apartment of about 50 square meters. You will enjoy a sleeping and living room with a double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters, dining table, lounge area with TV and Nespresso coffee machine. The private bathroom is small but comfortable and on the same floor. On the same floor we offer an extra room with two single beds (90x200) which can easily be converted into a double bed. On request an additional 5th extra bed can be added to the Suite.
Charming and homely.
Reviewed By 75ZionAfter a scam apartment I had booked, in schiedam, I feel I really lucked out with these wonderful people and their homely house. I had the top floor all to myself, with a sitting room, equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, a fridge and table and chairs. Nothing was too much trouble for them and was even allowed to use the washing machine and drier for my clothes. On departure I commented that as a man used to English mugs, it would have been good to have larger cups, and the lovely host replied, “ oh no, you should have told me, I should have known, you’re English! I would have gotten it for you”. It wasn’t a problem at all. I would stay here again, next time I visit.

Hoogst twijfelachtig
Reviewed By klaosMede geboekt op basis van de foto's op Booking.com . Wij hadden de tuinkamer op de begane grond die overeenkomstig is met de grote foto op booking.com. Helaas was/is de kamer niet zo goed onderhouden. De mooie paspoppen lagen in de tuin voor de raam van onze kamer op pallets naast de kratten bier. De mooie idyllische tuin was verwilderd en achterin de tuin staan 2 caravans waar in ieder geval de Engelssprekende (overigens zeer vriendelijke) man sliep die ons ontving. Het gebouw is zeer gehorig maar dat hoort waarschijnlijk bij dit soort panden. Stappen/rennen, gesprekken en lachen van de bovenverdieping waren zeer goed hoorbaar. De kamer is echter gezellig, groot en leuk aangekleed met een prachtig plafond. Geen TV. Betaald parkeren kan voor de deur. Persoonlijk dieptepunt was de enorme rommel onder de grote ombouw van de verwarming. Daar heeft waarschijnlijk niemand meer gekeken.... wel misschien nog even met de stofzuiger. Gebaseerd op een schattig lagen hier ca 30 petflesjes/blikjes en andere rommel. Was de kamer onberispelijk schoon geweest, de tuin zoals gefotografeerd, dan was het wellicht een gemiddeld geworden. Heel goed echter niet.
