I went on a Tuesday and the place was very busy, so it clearly satisfies the locals. I didn't expect to eat my meal in a fug of smoke. Apparently there is a small smoke free area but I wasn't given a choice. The order was taken and the starter arrived in less than 5 minutes. However my steak arrived before I had finished my starter and the waiter hovered over me whilst I cleared a space for the plate. Not good manners. It all seemed rather rushed and lacking in charm.

Monday night and a lot of the restaurants were closed. Enjoyed a decent meal in The Athens. The house salad was very filling, and the outside courtyard was a nice place to chill out on a warm evening.

Visit with my wife who is coeliac and requires gluten free food. This was no problem as allergies are shown on menu by a numbering system. Service excellent by English speaking waitress. Good food promptly served and reasonably priced.
