The best meals I had in SF do Sul were in Portela.
Portela is located by the sea - you have a choice of sitting open air - under the sky and sheltered, and indoors. The buffet is very good - an amazing spread of poulty, fish and vegetables. Different desserts every day. And not too expensive (A good tummy-bursting meal within 20 Reais)
If having lunch here - don't miss watching the cruise liner depart at 2pm - something interesting happens! i won't tell you what, else it would kill the surprise.

I´ve ordered a sole, in olive oil and fast pan fried. It came a sole, of shoes... waiter tried to make it as ordered... but.... Try another!

Vale a pena conhecer o Restaurante e Petisqueira Maré Mansa de São Francisco do Sul. A poucos metros da praia de Itaguaçu em São Chico temos a nossa disposição um restaurante de dar água na boca. Amplo espaço interno com atendimento muito atencioso de toda equipe. Buffet de saladas, massas, peixe, camarão, pirão, farofa e muito mais. Não deixe de conhecer, vale a pena. Eu recomendo

Not having eaten all day, we arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 pm. The owner opened up for our group of 5 and prepared three varieties of bacalau and great recommendations on wine.
We sat outside and enjoyed the delightful May weather - this was the best meal in my six recent trips to South America

Restarante situated on the beach near light house. Has good interior. Nice service. Unfortunately nobody speak English, but with translation in the phone we made order and understood each other. Very important it's food. 100% chief cook know his job. Every thing was very tasty. This is was my first restorante in Brazil. I was surprised.

Good seafood, served in huge quantities. Actually there are 3 restaurants from the same family at Vila da Gloria and people told me that the food has the same standards in all of them; so it is a mini chain. If you crave fish and shrimps, take the ferry boat to Vila da Gloria and make sure to skip breakfast.

Fui na Kanto da Pizza da praia da Enseada. O rodízio é muito bom e variado com massa fina e crocante além de bem recheada.
O atendimento é muito bom e ágil. Possuem um sistema de chamada na mesa para pizzas Salgadas, doces e bebidas

Uma ótima opção para uma boa refeição. Estive com minha familia (esposa, filha, e pais) e acabamos pegando um prato família, onde vinha: camarão frito, lula, filé de anchova, fritas e os demais acompanhamentos... Realmente uma excelente opção. Um ótimo serviço aliado a um bom preço. A climatização do local estava muito boa, cerveja e bebidas muito bem geladas. Só tivemos um pequeno problema na hora de fechar a conta, onde foram cobrados 3 vezes o prato que pedimos. Contudo o próprio garçom viu o erro e corrigiu. Retornaremos e recomendo com certeza!
