Prices were okay but a 4am wake up to puke and stay by the toilet all morning makes this restaurant an absolute avoid at all costs.

I came to eat here with a group of friends after reading the great reviews on here and was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the brushetta and garlic bread starters were particularly good, and the Spaghetti Bolognese was rich and tasty. The wine was good and so so cheap- . Service was enthusiastic, they really are very friendly and helpful.I will definitely be coming back here. Regularly.

My friend "Señor Tranquillo" lives above this restaurant - he ran it for a while as a beach-bar, then let go of the lease. It's currently run by two Italians who are making the best pizza in Boca Chica. This is pizza Italian-style, and it's as close as I've tasted to the pizzas I had in Rome and its environs. At around 300 pesos for a roughly 30-cm pizza, it's quite reasonable. And since they're running it as a beach bar, it's a great place to hang out in the evening and enjoy a few cold Presidentes while you enjoy the sunset.My friends and I may have gotten a "pizza overdose," but I'll go back the next time I visit Boca Chica, to be sure!

Last night we had a dinner in this beautiful place, close to sea, anything was really tasty, and the owner was a funny and a really good person and the chef too!! We ate loabster with italian spaghetti and was awesome! Sure we ll back to taste other staff in menù...

We went to this restaurant a few times during our month-long stay in Boca Chica. The first time was for lunch. My wife had the Beach Burger (a crispy fish burger with tomato, lettuce, onion rings, avocado and fries) which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the chicken salad sandwich which was rather boring. For dinner one evening we began with an order of caprese (tomatoes, fresh mozzarella & basil). The tomatoes in this country are so fresh (not hothouse like at home). The only disappointment was they used dried as opposed to fresh basil leaves. For the mains, my wife had the fettuccini with artichokes and olives, while I had the Carbonara. Both were very good. Unfortunately they do not offer a plain Caesar salad, only with chicken, as that would have made a nice side. Another evening I had the artichoke and olive spaghetti, and my wife had the zucchini and shrimp pasta. Of the various pastas we had at this restaurant, our favourite was the zucchini and shrimp - it sounds like an odd combination but is absolutely wonderful. For our anniversary dinner we each had the mixed seafood grill with lobster, shrimp (4), octopus, squid, and red snapper. It was good but not great, with the snapper being the most tasty. In the evenings there are fewer patrons and service tends to be more efficient. Credit Cards are accepted and menu prices include the 17% DR tax and the 10% service charge. Note: as with all restaurants in DR, smoking is permitted, both indoors and outdoors.Thank you for your review! We hope to see you again when you come back to Boca Chica.

Popped in here after a day on the beach to quench the thirst! Wish we hadnât bothered! Terrible ignorant service. Ordered a strawberry daiquiri I am convinced it was red wine and lemon! Do not have a blue lagoon itâs more of a green colour not sure what it was! Donât bother much better beach bars
