Authentic turkish kitchen specialising in charcoal grilled kebabs, hot and cold starters, vegeterian options in a modern atmosphere with a coctail bar serving a wide range refreshing beverages
We visited kebab on a Tuesday evening on approaching the restaurant it looked shut because the main door was half closed. When we entered we were given a warm welcome and felt at ease straight away we were served drinks straight away. The menu was hard to choose from because we wanted to try a mixture we settled for the moussaka and mixed kebab meats.we were pleasantly suprised the chicken, lamb and Sheesh kebab was the tastiest I have tried in years saved with a good portion of mixed salad. The moussaka was home made really meaty and tasty.we had a cheesecake desert to share and were blown away with the quality and taste followed by 2 Bailey's coffees. The outside of this restaurant doesn't match the excellent quality of reasonably priced food it has to offer well worth a try can't wait for our 2nd visit

Authentic Persian Cuisine One of the worldâs most ancient and refined styles of cooking is the traditional home cooking of Iran. Fragrant rice, slow cooked stew, perfectly seasoned meats, fresh herbs and vegetables are just the beginning of a journey thro
Nice decor and starters were nice. Mains were slightly dry could have done with more in the way of sauce/gravy but massive portions we couldn't finish our food! Hospitable hosts and clearly have a friendly atmosphere as loads of regulars when we went

When it comes to Turkish food in the city i call home- Birmingham, I've found that over the years the options for this cuisine have gone up in numbers. There is no doubt that there are much better places to dine at compared to Istanbul Handsworth however needless to say this is still a decent restaurant that offers authentic dishes at decent prices which you can't really complain about. It's no fine dining venue, nor would i really see myself booking this place for a special dinner for an occasion or celebration. However what it is suited for it does very well- in my opinion it's great for that casual dinner or lunch option or even a great take out option which won't break the bank but still keep you happy! There is ample seating inside, and when you do dine in you are greeted my a kind member of staff- keeps changing any time i go! Service could be better- a little confusion in terms of wanting to make any changes to dishes, to a point we just decided to go with what ever was on the menu as it came, but also mixing up my wife's vegetarian meal. She ordered the veg iskander but got the veg kebab instead however once the waitress found out, despite us saying it was not problem as my wife enjoyed the kebab they still insisted on bringing the veg iskander out and didnt charge us for it which i thought was a nice touch! Any meal we've had here hasnt been disappointing and yes sometimes things have gone wrong- sometimes down to getting lost in translation however always left happy and satisfied so no complaints. A good restaurant with lovely food and great value for money!
