Good holiday with great beaches but hillside location of some cottages can be particularly challenging.
Reviewed By Navigate809455Excellent location with great beaches, although these were occasionally affected by unpleasant aromas from the nearby pond. Hotel description warns about hilly access to cottages which proved to be a little more challenging than expected. Our travelling companions found it necessary to request a move as their cottage 26 was located down 40 steps after a steep upward climb. Hotel facilities and cottages were good but the rustic nature of the cottages tended to be quite basic and we encountered some plumbing issues. Staff were very friendly and whilst quality of food was good, service at times was very slow and the planned daily menus were repeated weekly which was a little repetitive after our first week. Management were extremely helpful and responded quickly to resolve any issues and our overall experience was very positive.

Great resort for romantic getaway.
Reviewed By FrancoS1MIt seems that everyone coming here does so for the same reason. They want the intimate feel of this style of resort. It lives up to expectations. We were celebrating our 32nd anniversary and it is well suited for any honeymoon, anniversary or any other romantic stay. A good mix of ages so all can feel comfortable even though there aren’t many people. Room size was good. We had a sunset beachfront room on the lower level and we were very pleased with this choice. All of the rooms/ cottages looked good but we have a pool at home and didn’t really care about getting a small plunge pool. We loved being directly on the beach and Antigua is all about the beach and sea for us. Assigned chairs and Bali beds are nice. We didn’t do much off resort but didn’t feel the need to for seven night stay. Food and beverages were also very good. There were plenty of options available and even if you didn’t see something that you wanted, you could ask for something else and they would make effort to make something to suit you. Service was very attentive and friendly. Entertainment was decent and low key. It does end relatively early and people head back to rooms early. The only thing I thought would be nice improvement would be if breakfast started earlier than 7:30AM. Even 30 minutes. Everyone goes to bed early so you end up having to kill time before heading to breakfast. We don’t often return to same resort but I would consider going back if we were looking at Antigua again.

Reviewed By bgreen102018This was an awesome tour. It was my second time doing this tour and Satchel was our Jeep driver and was very knowledgeable and tons of fun! We had Salvia and James for the kayaking and snorkeling portion and they were both very fun, informative and friendly l. They helped us as some of us were first time kayakers and had some challenges but they help and informed us fully what to do and expect. Excellent tour and would highly recommend!!

Disappointing
Reviewed By Alison NOur room was adequate at best. We booked through Airbnb. We were not given any introductory info (the fact that there was a restaurant attached for breakfast, or a local map or directions. Our room only had windows that looked out to the hall ways. One set of towels, no water pressure, no hot water at all. But, the location was fantastic and perfect for the two nights we were there.
