Great apartment - perfect location for S-Bahn & tram
Reviewed By jakerpWe stayed Fri/Sat nights. Well appointed apartment - comfy bed, comfy sofa, dining table/chairs (two in fact!), little kitchen, nice bathroom with washing machine also. Our apartment had triple aspect views, which I think was not the norm for the other rooms; also, we had the primary view over the S-bahn station which was perfectly quiet. Very useful being above a Lidl & a bakery - the Lidl is closed on Sunday (as expected), but the bakery was open on Sunday until noon & also served coffee & had tables if you wanted breakfast. I could hear the store announcements in the Lidl below on the Saturday morning though!!! The S-bahn links direct to Essen for easy connection to DUS airport. Also, the tram stop (318 route I think) into central Bochum was only 30m from the hotel & ran all night. Not much going on in Dalhausen itself, but we were there to visit friends living locally, so this was perfect. Odd check-in process though (no check-in desk, just a phone) & glad we had our German friends (that we were visiting) to help us with the check-in phone call. Really happy with our stay overall.

Reviewed By keith gThe appartment we were given was nothing like the photos on the website which showed a large appartment with armchair seating etc. Also No Air Conditioning as in the listing. I had to move the bed away from the wall so I could get in ! When I complained about the size etc the owner blamed Booking.com for the incorrect listing and was very dismissive. Very poor customer service - would Not stay there again. p.s there was Building work going on while we were there and the lift was not always available & my wife has a walking disability which had notified the owners about !

Reviewed By dannyhM7296ZIHeel mooi Hotel, mooie kamers. centraal gelegen gelijk aan de winkelstraat. 10min per voet naar der haven, gelijk bij een mooie park. Het is echt een weekend waard om lekker met rust eruit te komen. Goede Restaurant in de omgeving.

OK for one night
Reviewed By Jan FIf Apart Hotel means it is isolated from the rest it is true. Receptionist has contact with you over a inhouse phone system, But that's OK for it's price. Breakfast has to be taken 500 m away in the main location. Back to the Room: this is clean and OK no more. Television first didn't work but putting the antenna near the window helps!

Reviewed By Mane GDie Zimmereinrichtung ist einwandfrei. Wir waren wegen einem Dortmund-Spiel in der Stadt, würde beim nächsten mal wieder hier hin gehen. Für den Preis sind die Zimmer echt top. Und das nette Personal sollte man nicht vergessen!

Eine wirklich tolle Pension
Reviewed By zahndoktorMan mag es von außen nicht glauben, aber die Herzlichkeit der Vermieterin, die Größe des Zimmers und die Möglichkeiten in der Pension die sehr geräumige Küche mitbenutzen zu können, machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Das Bad ist extrem klein, aber Personen bis zu einem BMI von 25 sollten kein Problem haben.

Reviewed By Gabriele BSchlafGELegenheit is a good value for money lodging. You will be sharing the kitchen and the bathroom. The amenities are all well stocked and you will be supplied with one big bath towel, hand towel and a small bathroom carpet. All in all the room is very clean and it had its autonomous heating and TV. As it seems they have more than one place and the one that I stayed in was an old house which they refurbished to a good part. On the lower part they had common conservatory which was mainly used by my comrades as smoking room and watching on a big TV screen football. As I wrote before SchlafGELegenheit is a value for money accommodation and I was fairly happy and can recommend it.

Reviewed By deux4sixTout comme la ville d'Essen, industrielle, détruite et occupée par une junte de barbares illétrés, ce logement, au demeurant spacieux, bien équipé et au calme, dans une zone industrielle, le long d'une voie ferrée est entretenu par un vieil soixante huitard attardé, qui embête les clients sur les passes sanitaires, et sur l'interdiction de faire la fête dans l'appartement tandis qu'iil organise des soirées sans passe dans des cuisines inapropriés en terme de sécurité puisqu'il nous a fallu disposer des serviettes mouillés pour obstruer notre porte. Le plus honnête serait de l'annoncer même si les conditions de sécurité ne sont pas respecter et que les clients risquent de cramer dans leur sommeil. A éviter

Very comfortable apartment and a beautiful garden
Reviewed By Stefan787We had a lovely apartment with a very well equipped kitchen, two sleeping rooms with comfortable beds, and a bathroom of good size. The attention to details and high standard of everything, while maintaining an overall traditional farmhouse atmosphere, made this a very nice place for our short vacation. The houses are surrounded by a large and beautiful garden with plenty of space and a playground for the children. Outside are lots of countryside roads and a large forest for those who prefer taking a walk or go jogging. The city of Xanten is within 10 min by car. The owners were very welcoming and did their best to help us.

Reviewed By ShakoN6It was easy to find out how to get in the apartment as the instruction was very easy. It was weird to dial the code but we managed it and hurrah we were there. The apartment was centrally located and it was good because as a young couple we liked to lead the nightlife. The second most imoirtant thing was the bed. It was so damn comfortable that i fell asleep as soon as i hit the head towards the pillow. The kitchen was fully equipped so that we could cook whatever we wanted.
