Good location but a hot stay!
Reviewed By twinsthattravelThis hotel is in a great location in Binz, just a few minutes walk from the beach. We stayed during a particularly hot week, which was unfortunate given the lack of air conditioning. Our room didn’t drop below 28 degrees during our stay and nothing was offered to cool it down. Having said that, the staff were great and breakfast is good! Probably more enjoyable during cooler weeks.

Reviewed By Aleksander22We booked this appartment 404 which was on the highest fllor and just facing sea-front... Huge balcony, nice living room, kitchenette, bathroom standard. Nice to stay for a couple of nights and quiet. Parking place for the car in the underground-parking, lift and everything you need.

Reviewed By irj52If you don't like yellow, then don't stay here! Even the toilet paper is yellow! Good sized bedroon & bathroom. Bed comfortable. Mini-bar in room & stocked. Clean & comfortable. Staff good & helpful, although not alot of English. Approx 500m from railway station. Breakfast very good. Restaurant very good with most meals around 10 euros. Good centre for exploring the Isle of Ruegen & 'Roland', the narrow guage steam railway.

Security issues, hidden costs, unfriendly staff
Reviewed By MatzeRoseneeRooms are ok, location is a quiet street, some amenities for children. But a) security issues: strangers entered our room due to card lock system malfunction. B) hidden costs: water bottle costs 3,50 EUR, written in small letters in the price list of the minibar. The placement of the bottle leads one to expect it would be complimentary. c) staff is unfriendly and disrespectful when being criticized and doesn’t show interest in compensation for the guests, not only for us. Wouldn’t choose this hotel again for my next stay in Binz.

Reviewed By ulljeffaThe location of the pension was good, it was close to the main street and the beach..The rooms were good and clean with nice furniture. The windows were well insulated so one couldn't hear any traffic from the street..The breakfast was also good. We didn't have any good experience with the staff, we were met unfriendly. We had to pay in advance when we arrived and we had to leave the room at 9 am on the day of the departure. During our stay, 2 days, the room was not cleaned and the beds were not made. .

A Self-Contained apartment

The architecture is reminiscent of a Southern American town in which you expect to see a bearded gentleman exiting the building whilst wearing a Confederate Army uniform asking for directions to Gettysburg! Directly next door to the accommodation is a very nice pizza restaurant and a little further down is a pleasant Mexican restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is also SKY TV available in your room just in case that you miss the sound of English being spoken as not many people in the area do speak it.

Excellent Place - Warm Welcome
Reviewed By John EFantastic little hotel and seafood restaurant overlooking the Ostsee in Sassnitz. I visited with some friends in October 2019, as we were visiting the submarine HMS Otus which is moored as a museum in the harbour there (two of my travelling companions had served on the submarine). The atmosphere of the bar, hotel and restaurant is cosy, clean and welcoming; the staff were very polite and friendly, and did everything that they could to make our stay enjoyable. Our rooms were clean, tidy and very well appointed - the only little fault I could make is that I felt that the pillows on the bed were too soft for my taste, but that is a personal matter and not an issue for the hoteliers. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant - the food was superb, huge portions, not overpriced and very filling for four ex-marines and submariners after a long drive from Berlin. Breakfast the following morning was just as good - plentiful and a huge choice from fruit juice and cereal, through pickled herrings, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, cold meats and cheeses, and a bewildering array of breads. Highly recommended for a stay if you are in the area. Thanks again to the owners and staff for the welcome.
