Perfection

Beautiful, comfortable, clean, large rooms. (Four of us had two rooms: a 1-bed and a 2-bed —both lovely.) Tasty breakfasts. Orla and friends are first-class hosts. All in our party agree Bogbean was the best guesthouse of our two week trip around Ireland.

Errisbeg Lodge

Errisbeg Lodge, an informal Irish home is spectacularly set amid private, spacious wildflower gardens, on the slopes of Errisbeg Mountain and overlooks numerous off-shore islands, and the magnificent Atlantic beaches of Gurteen and Dog's Bay. Yet just 2km from the pretty coastal village of Roundstone. Errisbeg Lodge is the perfect location where you can paint, photograph, write, walk, hike, bike, revitalise and really get away from it all.

Errisbeg House

A Hidden Gem!!

Reviewed By Rick K

From the moment of our arrival to the time we had to sadly say goodbye we had the most enjoyable experience. We were welcomed by Richard who turned out to be the most gracious host we have met on any of our travels anywhere in the world and that's saying something. The house is steeped in history and any of our questions, and there were many, were passionately answered by Richard who obviously has a deep love of the house and surrounding area. Our room, The King, was really quirky and I bet the walls could tell some stories! The bed was amongst the most comfortable we have ever slept on and we had 2 great relaxing night's sleep. Words really can't do justice to our experience. Book a few nights here and you'll know what I mean. Thank you again for your hospitality Richard, we'll be back!
